I ordered the springs from Jegs, but they took about two weeks to get. You can get them from Summit, Advance Auto, Checker/O'reily.

The tires I have on now are 31x10.5 but they're worn so they sit about 29ish inches.

I'm looking at 32x11.5 Mastercraft Couser MT for replacements. They actually sit at 31.4 inches.

Yes. i keep seein everyone do both and i dont know the difference.
You think the moog springs are better than the rouh country 2.5 inch leveling springs? would you need the drop brakets to run the 2.5 inch lift springs?

From what I understand 1-2 inches is the most you can go with out axle pivot drop brackets.

Back when my truck was lifted, I had 2 inch leveling coils and it was at the max for alignment. It couldn't go any higher.

I don't think that's a bad thing. That's why I started this thread in the first place. Because I'm trying to figure out the same thing. I think you joining this thread was one of the best things that happened to it, you ask a lot of good questions.

I'm the same way when it comes to my truck. I've been figuring out exactly what I'm going to do to the diff's for a long while now. I have the money, I just need to be 100% sure I'm doing the right thing.

I guess it might be wise to see if ride high and spring rate can be determined for each spring (844, 844S, various aftermarket springs), to see what their differences are.

One reason I think I'd rather get moog springs, after looking around, is that they have their specs posted. Non of the aftermarket guys do.

Spring # CC844
Inside Diameter 4.000
Bar Diameter 0.812
Install Height 12.75
Load rate (lbs) 1557
Spring Rate (Lbs/in.) 630
Free Height 15.40
End Type pigtail ends

Spring # CC844S
Inside Diameter 4.000
Bar Diameter 0.812
Install Height 13.00
Load rate (lbs) 1759
Spring Rate (Lbs/in.) 629
Free Height 15.79
End Type pigtail ends

I just want to clarify it from those who know for sure...the Moog 844 and 844S coil springs WILL fit a 1994 F-150 XLT 2WD Supercab? Some of the sites I've checked assume my truck is a 4WD truck after I pick year, make, and model. I just want to be 100% sure before I buy anything.

Everyone on her seems like they speak highly of the moog's . so judging by the spring rate of both, both spring will make the truck ride the same. I wonder how hard it rides. I like the way my truck rides now. its pretty bumpy now as it is and i dont think it will be so enjoyable if it was any firmer. My trucks a 96 with 90,000 miles and the springs still feel pretty firm. How many miles are on your truck?
