plain 844'? you mean as apposed to the 844s? what's the difference?
Yes. i keep seein everyone do both and i dont know the difference.
You think the moog springs are better than the rouh country 2.5 inch leveling springs? would you need the drop brakets to run the 2.5 inch lift springs?
I don't think that's a bad thing. That's why I started this thread in the first place. Because I'm trying to figure out the same thing. I think you joining this thread was one of the best things that happened to it, you ask a lot of good questions.

thanks alot man, we pretty much have the same truck. Im very paticular about my truck i just want whats best for it you know. i want to do these leveling springs badly but im so indesieve about brand. I want the best value i guess you could say.
I'm the same way when it comes to my truck. I've been figuring out exactly what I'm going to do to the diff's for a long while now. I have the money, I just need to be 100% sure I'm doing the right thing.
I guess it might be wise to see if ride high and spring rate can be determined for each spring (844, 844S, various aftermarket springs), to see what their differences are.
I just want to clarify it from those who know for sure...the Moog 844 and 844S coil springs WILL fit a 1994 F-150 XLT 2WD Supercab? Some of the sites I've checked assume my truck is a 4WD truck after I pick year, make, and model. I just want to be 100% sure before I buy anything.
One reason I think I'd rather get moog springs, after looking around, is that they have their specs posted. Non of the aftermarket guys do.

Everyone on her seems like they speak highly of the moog's . so judging by the spring rate of both, both spring will make the truck ride the same. I wonder how hard it rides. I like the way my truck rides now. its pretty bumpy now as it is and i dont think it will be so enjoyable if it was any firmer. My trucks a 96 with 90,000 miles and the springs still feel pretty firm. How many miles are on your truck?
