I would think 1.5 would be perfect. Probably just a little lower in the front than level. Which is how I would prefer it. I actually set a generator in the bed of my truck today and was surprised at how much the bed settled.

I think I'm gonna get a set of overload springs link my 95 had, so when a heavy load is added, it helps keep the rear from sinking too far.

I would not run those spacers. For the same reason I would not use aluminum lift blocks. Just get leveling springs. The Superlift springs I had were between 1.5-2 inches.

I wish my truck had those additional overload springs.

ya, i agreee 1.5 should be nice. just for fun yesterday i put a jack under my truck and lifted the front up 2 inches and it really dont sound like much. I figure since my truck is 14 years old my springs in front are sagging anyway. I think ill go ahead and order the springs today. Yesterday i bought a roto tiller , and as soon as it went in my truck the back end went down like two inches. ha i was dissapointed but itt was a heavy item

Anyone who is or already has put a leveling kit on a 1992-96 2WD truck, if you have pictures could you post them along with how high the lift was and what you used (springs, spaceers, etc.)? I'm trying to get an idea of what my truck would look like after I put one on. If you have before and after pics, that would be great also. I also want to go ahead and clear this up. After a leveling kit is installed, do you need to replace or adjust anything such as the shocks? I know it will most likely need an alignment. Thanks in advance.

I wish I could suggest an add a leave that would give you what you want, but I don't know how much they actually lift the rear.

What I would like to have is the overload spring that doesn't even touch the rest of the spring pack until there is a load on the bed.

Yeah, my old truck had that. I'd like to move the setup over, but I'm probably better off just getting new springs rather than using the ancient ones that I have. I'm sure the brackets are still good though.

Adding a leaf will actually bring the rear end up more than you might think. It's hard to get very precise with them. You might have better luck adding one, then replace the factory lift block with one that is bigger or smaller to fine tune it.

I picked up a daystar level kit for about $90 from Jegs I think. I changed out the shocks to skyjackers and got a set of 33" tires. I am very happy.
The level kit is just a 2'' spacer that goes under the coil spring. I think skyjacker has an actual longer spring that you can get instead of needing a spacer, and it is also red and I thought that was quite neat too.

With 844 springs in the front and F250 leafs and the angle block that normally goes between the overload and the main pack of an f350 under the rear. Tires are 285/75/16 BFG M/T KM2= 33x11.3

I got them on yesterday and haven't got them to rub yet with no bump stops in place. But my hub set up is different then stock and tends to keep the tire away from the radius arm.
