Run it in series, you should have more room than in a PSD in therory being that the V10 doesn't have an intercooler.
I am running both coolers still. Right around 195 pulling in 80-90 degree weather.

morning Jay, yeah I finally have the cooler issue clear, it's just a matter of getting the temp probe first for a comparison, then the 6.0 cooler run together with the factory cooler.

Yeah, found the pictures today. Didn't find them last night, I got through about a page of reading before I stopped. Read most of it again this morning and finally got to the pictures. Guns were blazing in that thread.

Jay those temps don't seem that bad, 100* over ambeint (sp) temps. That is about what mine runs when pulling.

it all started with the trans oil pan.....and it was a NJ member that started it!

That Mark guy, Ford Trans Engineer had the right idea, I just didn't follow it when it started getting "this vs that" .

You're such a trouble maker Steve. Mark knows his stuff.

I know mine isn't out of the range but I just wish it were more in the middle. Even empty mine is always higher then what most report.

I just want to know what my normal is and when I pull my boat up the grade that I know puts a strain on the trans.

The reason I bought the Ex was to pull the boat without having to worry about what happens when I upgrade to a larger boat!

I killed my wifes trans in her van with the boat, I'm convinced that was what did it, 70K miles and a bad trans! Plus we want to take a trip up to Vermont next year with the boat, and who knows we might have a new one by then!

Morning everyone. Got a chance to pop in before I leave work.

Steve, If you come out to Troy's GTG we can take you fishing for the opener maybe. You have never fished unitl you have fished in a snowmobile suit in the snow.

I am taking my F350 up to wisconsin today, I will watch my scan gauge and report back with my normal running temp. It is all stock in this area. I will be empty, but it may be helpful. Temp around here today is 45-50 deg. I will try to let you know this evening if I can send it from my phone.

Sounds like a plan, but work and family would make the drive a little far!
