Morning Everyone!! Today is much better than yesterday. I was in bed pretty much all afternoon, then back to bed by 8pm yesterday. Some kind of bug. Probably flu.
I'm tempted to do the 10K (14.7K) mod for my 96 Powerstroke. If it'll improve my mileage (even a little bit), I'm all for it. I've gotten sort of gunshy though. I tried to do my thermostat a year ago and ended up with a $600 emergency water pump (I snapped the head off of one of the bolts). I took the fan and shroud out early winter and punctured the top cap of the radiator while putting the bolts back for "safe keeping." Simple things seem to burn me.

Afternoon everybody!! Well the race got rained out so that kinda sucked but oh well I will DVR the race tomorrow. Hope everybody is having a good day! Just gonna go outside and finish some stuff up almost too nice to be inside!
Glad your feeling better! Geez you were kinda having a run of bad luck there. I don't blame ya for being gunshy, but your luck has gotta change and it might as well start with this mod.

Well... tonight's luck isn't much better. Haven't attempted the mod yet. Wife got the crud, babysitter backed out an hour and half before her scheduled time (and usual backups aren't available) and wife got an emergency call.
