You can have the snow, I'll take the break... probably short lived anyway..
Lisa, if you were truly serious about a snow blade, there are some cheap ones already showing up on Craig's list... saw one for $500 I think it was... Although with what my friend was telling me, not sure how well one would work for me, as he is getting the plow truck stuck when the snow is too deep and goes over the blade. Seems the weight of the blade isn't helping when he is stuck into the drift... I've never used a truck to plow the snow drifts here, but I know I can get a tractor stuck in them...(I'm talking 856 IH, not a small one..., also nearly had the 684 stuck too getting the old man pulled out of a snow bank... that drift was tough to push through...)
Roger, I don't think I want a blade for the truck. Too hard on my truck..its my daily driver and my only vehicle so I'd rather not tear it up. Now if you see an ATV blade on there, let me know because that is what I'd really like to do. Thanks for lookin out for me.
So these days, when I see the snow, it makes me want to
It would be something that probably would have to be fabbed up. Basically take a blade setup that I happen to have available and make it work. It is supposed to go on the Ranch King (MTD) mower I have, (17hp0 but the tractor is about shot, the drive system would never hold up to it, not to mention the only cement around this place to clear is a mile away, and the state does that one... I want to say it is 3' long, maybe foot or so tall.
