It largely would have spit it out if it hadn't gotten stuck. The feeder doesn't run all that fast. I had noticed the blower wasn't getting much through, and wasn't throwing it very well. When I got off and looked, it was wedged behind the feeder, and blocking the blower wheel. I can spit an automotive blower motor through this snow blower though... oops.
I am surprised it didn't shear the bolts for the feeder though.

No pics, but that can be remedied... It runs behind our 966 IH, and can pull it down at full throttle if I get into too much snow, and I have done that a few times... It is about 3' tall and 8' wide opening. I have the chute set up with a hydraulic cylinder now so I can change the direction as needed...

You say snowblower and I thing Huffy 24" 5hp walk behind...LOL
It sure beats pushing snow all day... With this blower, I can make generally one pass and the area is clear. With the loader, I have to keep going over the same area to get it actually clean, as it rolls out the side of the bucket. I also don't end up with much for piles to make snowdrifts off of... It does make a line piled up off about 40' or so to the side...
Actually Rob, other than the double chute, I think mine may actually be larger. It has a Class 3 hitch on it, which is actually higher than what our tractor has. I know the body of mine is larger, as it is at least 3' deep as well. I don't have the convenience of a cab either...Now if only I could mount it on the front... this turning around is getting to my back.
With these, yes. I did find a few mount conversions to put them on the front. They are PTO driven, so they generally have to be mounted on the rear. I had thought of making it mount to the front and use the hydraulic drive system from an old hay mower run it, but I'm not sure if it runs fast enough. It has a PTO pump to run the drive. These conversions actually take the PTO drive and run it under the tractor to the blower. Front Mount Kits
Quite a few run off the hydraulics on the skid loaders too... I'm sure with this wind there will be drifts to blow out again, I'll have to get some pics of my unit. The funny thing about it is that my uncle didn't think it worked. I think it works great, not sure what his issue with it was. He bought it years ago and then never really used it. I have used it for 2 winters now. If I change it to run on the 1000 rpm pto, then it works WONDERFUL, just pulls the tractor down easier. I did that the first winter until the conversion hookup kept coming off due to the out of balance condition and angles. I need to get a dedicated shaft to hook it up so I can hook it direct with no converter. Right now the shaft I have to use is the same as the bush hog since the original shaft decided to retire...
