Good Morning every one, looks like a overcast day with a chance of rain. I get to work indoors today so all is good. I discovered yet again yesterday that one of the major causes of GREMLINS in a mechanical component (unexplainable phenomenon that prevents an other wise correct diagnoses and repair from curring a problem of poor run or other things that occure that shouldn't in machines, automobiles, and such) in this case hard start, at times poor run was a pin hole in a piece of rubber fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump.
It did not leak to the out side but would let air in. Just when you are thinking you are getting smart, go figure.
Those weird things sure do mess us up sometimes.
I was away sledding 2 weeks ago, and my sled ran awesome day 1, and like crap on day 2.
It would not pull its revs like it should, so I got looking at it, in the very front is a box that runs the EFI with a tube into it.
The tube allows it to sense the altitude its at.
It is just a vent, nothing else.
It had gotten snow in it, and while warm was fine, overnight it froze and plugged off.
So I pulled it off the EFI box, and laid it on the motor for a bit to thaw, then blew it out by mouth, put it on, and it ran perfectly.
The snow was so deep it was packing under my hood, and tat is what it caused.

Glad you found the problem finally.
Its seems like the simplest things can do the most. I have tried to pride my self through the years by going after the simplest things first and then work up when something doesn't make sense with most of the time after a little bit of head scratching, diag, and thought can get to the problem but this time I started on the wrong foot and just kept on going until I put the brakes on and rethought the basics. Aside from a much needed tune up nothing else was done until this thing reasoned it self out.
Sure does make you feel good when you get to the end of it though doesn't it?
Well, have a good day every one as I must hit the trail to do more good in the world today.
But it is a city located on Vancouver Island.
Southern part of the island, famous for its flower gardens, and home of a pub that sells the worlds best clam chowder soup.

Garnish with cilantro. (seems like a waste to me to by cilantro as garnish)
hawaii is correct but not as the west most state, it is actually southern most. I doubt most US citizens would get this correct either. I know it was a shock to me.
