I followed the hpop test instructions on swamps website, and a sustained burst from 50 to 100 mph in sixth gear on the 140 setting yields a maximum of roughly 2500psi and it will stabilize around 2250-2300. The duty cycle will spike to 75% and fall off to 55%.
On the stock setting the pressure will peak at 2300 and hold and the duty cycle will not quite reach 50%
So.....if I read this right my stock pump just barely qualifies as "marginal".
Scott, those are solid numbers for a stock pump. I could never get over 2200 spike and a sustained if 1900 with my stocker.
The oil lines come off eaisily. you don't have to have the "tool". the fittings will swivel in the quik coupler so you can just unscrew the fittings at the pump and leave the hose and fitting attached to the truck while you remove the pump.

An even easier way is to take two screwdrivers, push down on the lock, and pop off the oil lines. They come off instantly that way.

Looking at the picture of the Adreneline pump, there is no flange installed in the pump. You have to use the existing flange anyway so why not just unscrew it from the stocker anyway?
I un hooked my lines for piece of mind..I wanted to make sure the fitting went on strait in my new pump..they pop off pretty easy once you figure it out....
