That 2700 psi in the 140 setting was at 114 mph and still pulling that's when Scott saw the smoke and we found the coolant leak.

Speaking of smoke, did anyone think to check the stacks? Less black smoke with the new pump?

I was watching the gauge and it was hard not to look up at that speed. It pulls a lot harder than it used to I mean with the stock pump it would pull ok and to a point then it felt like it would lay down, NOT ANY MORE.

Not really less, but there was a change. Prior to the pump it would smoke, then clear, the start smoking hard again at the top of the tach. Now it smokes and doesn't really clear all the way. It's still hazing at full boogie.

To me that says I'm getting much better fuel atomization.....and probably more fuel.

So far today I've refilled the coolant reservoir. I pumped it up to 17 PSI and after half an hour it settled to 16.5 psi. i also went to NAPA and bought yet another cap, which tested to 17 PSI and holds. Then I got the hose out and rinsed off all the coolant remnants, now it's sitting with the hood up waiting for the water to dry before I head out again.

Thanks Dan. I was testing Pressures Friday with the chip removed and was hitting the factory 94 mph limiter.....

I put the chip back in the instant I shut the truck off.

Congrats Scott, I'll bet Bob was glad to hear your #'s after the challanged numbers mine provided. I gotta say I'm jealous of your numbers. I am going to have to find where the rest of my oil is going. Enjoy.. Barney

Maintaining 2700 with your setup is very good I think. I did three 50 to 90 runs in 80e today. Each time dropped as low as 2100 and threw the P0603

I bet my truck would love the Adrenaline pulling the new 5er to Oregon from Hoosierflatlandville this summer.

Congrats Scott.

I'm not entirely convinced that it isn't a head gasket since I can't seem to hold the coolant in. I'll be starting a new thread for that.

The bottom end numbers are pretty close to the same. It's maybe 100psi higher at idle now 600psi vs. 500. ICP hangs around 10-12% for both pumps.

I will be interested to find out where your oil is going too.

I just got an email from Sheryl and here is the copy and paste.

"Hi Robin Just wanted to let your know that your Adrenaline pump is built, tested and ready to ship. We'll just need you to give Bob a call to go over a few things before we can get it on the way to you. Please call when you have about 20 minutes or so to speak with him".

WAHOO! Bye-Bye 15° HPOP.

Are either one of you going to do any data logging, or just slap it on and go? You will really feel the difference coming from a 15° pump.
