Ummmmmmm, it was forward before the crash, so not so good.
It was many years ago, and I was lucky to have gotten a good surgeon.
Ouch, my foot hurts just thinking about it. Glad you got it straightened out..no pun intended.
Yep! Great week but intense. I've got really bad sunburn and a Crown Vic that needs a new set of tires..lol! Lots of pursuit driving in daylight, dusk, dark. Great stuff. Running through a serpentine course in a Chevy Extended van at 25 MPH is harder than it sounds. Lots easier in a Crown Vic!
Me too. I'm off until Tuedsay now and glad! Time to catch up on some sleep. We hit the ground running yesterday at 9AM and I got home at midnight last night. In my "down time" yesterday between courses, I figured out that I walked 8 miles yesterday.

Well, in Virginia, the Attorney General doesn't recognize the PIT maneuver as justifiable and LE agencies aren't allowed to practice it. But, the driving part is fantastic! We had to run about 14 different courses eight to ten times each. That Chevy van is used by our Regional Jail for transporting prisoners and they have about ten of them. It is 19 feet long and you have to do speed maneuvers in it like parallel parking, serpentine, and a parking course where the orange safety cones are set out about 2 feet off each side of it. Doesn't sound too bad until you start swinging the front and back ends around trying to park it. All of the courses are timed and if you go over time, you fail and have to drop out of the course. Each cone you knock over counts five points off your score and you have to average a 90 to pass so they don't leave you much room for error. If you go more than 5 MPH above or below the designated speed, you fail.
It's Sam Adams time for sure! Oh, and by the way, I passed with a 98.93 average!! WooHoo!!!
