Just to show how smart the kids at our small private school are, there were 29 graduates tonight, and there was over $350,000. worth of scholarship money earned and accepted by them tonight. There were 9 full ride scholarships given, and another 15 partial scholarships. All were academic scholarships no atheletic.
Wow. Terrific bunch of kids.

We have a wedding on Saturday but we are camping in the area for the weekend. Then back to work on Tueday.

You do get extra points for rattlin snake on the menu though.

Ya know, tea is a damned good idea. I might make up some tea too. The soda pop is for the kids. Nik won't drink tea, but Carmen will.

I picked up some big, fat jalapenos for the rattlesnakes. Good eatin!

All this talk of great marks at schools, makes me feel stupid.

I was too busy wanting to be outdoors, riding my dirtbike, or snowmobiling, hunting etc.

I got A's in shop, Gym, and math, but was happy enough with my B's in the other classes, so I could skip out some days and play.

Now I am older, and it might have been good to have worked a little and been a top student, as I may have traveleled a different road in life.

Then again maybe not.

I will never know now.

Kind of wished I had gotten into aircraft, or sport car engineering/design.
Or maybe tried to be a pro motocross racer...I was very good in my day, but all but stopped racing by 19 years old after I crashed a street bike at 250 kms/hr and went off the road into the trees and busted myself up....sigh

Sorry , Just remember my youth....carry on folks.
