And not all woman are blessed with lots of curves or big *****..... that doesn't mean that we can't change tires, shocks, pull turbos, help drop tranny's, hunt, fish, do yard work or shoot the chit with the guys. Right after I have worked on the truck I will make you a kick *** dinner! I don't fall into the skinny catagory but don't discount all little girls.

 

Hey Cris! What's up with your missing supporter badge? For the record, I love your last paragraph! When's dinner?

 

I don't know where my badge went, would have been nice if they would have sent me a notice letting me know I was about to lose it if I didn't renew by last night.

Dinner will be in about 3.5 hours, tonight is a pork loin!!

 

Cris you are so amazing. You are so very dead on in what you said. Big Kudos.
I lose out in cooking dept. I can do okay with mexican food and few other things here and there but I am no "cook" So I get that check mark against me.

John will you help me with my avatar? He is so kewl but i cant get him to move. I know you have prob told a million people but I am given you pouty eyes and my bottom lip is out and im begging for help.

Well darling (no offense Jim), check the properties of the avatar. If it's more than 64KB it won't be animated...it'll just be a still photo. If it's under 64KB, the animation should work. If it's the correct file size (less than 64KB) and it still doesn't work, try to download it again.

Just right click on the avatar in your file and go down to properties and look at the file size. I've had problems with a few of mine that were super cool but too large (too many KB) to work right.

 

Ok guys, as promised. I posted these in another thread, but here goes:

I don't have any pictures of the truck IN the parade, unfortunately I was busy driving. But, I might have some at a later date.

During the parade, I heard all of these responses:

"WHOA what a big truck"
"Look at the size of that truck"
"Yep, that's a diesel!"
"That's a beautiful truck"
"That's a big truck for a girl" (heard that several times)

"Wow what a pretty truck"

and my favorite:

"Hey mommy look a Tonka Truck"

Here is the whole enchilada:





The float. For those of you who might be wondering, that brown thing is a mushroom. This was the Houby Days Parade, a Houby is a mushroom.




The truck next to a big lineup of Corvettes:


We were the first float to go through the parade route. We ended up getting #2 award for best float.


Just before the parade started:


Thought this was cool and worth mentioning. THAT is a Tatra, and is a Czechoslovakian car, this particular Tatra was made in 1969. Its property of the Czech museum and according to the guy driving it, is one of only six Tatras in the United States.



Ahah, good luck on that one. I've only met ONE girl who knew how to field dress a deer. ME. lol.

NOOO...I was good and I went slow. MAN is it hard to go that slow. Geezus. I let off the throttle and let the truck putz along and even that was too fast. Had to ride the breaks the whole time.

Not necessarily. Is it fixable?

Thank you. Actually the guy whose shop we used to decorate the float in had a pretty nice Duramax. After the parade was over, we took the float back to his shop to disassemble it. He asked me what year my truck was, and for a minute there he didn't believe me. I had to convince him of it. He said it was in great shape and that I must really take care of it, and I must say that was cool to hear.

 

Nice going Lisa. Looks great. I must admit I have never heard of a Houby mushroom. We have the Morels around here. I had never seen one before and some guys had some in their motel room on the table and I thought they were butt toys i was totally creeped out.

 

LMAO..butt toys. Hey ya never know. Hey I'm 27-years-old, I feel like I'm up to date on "things"..but even once in a while I hear about and/or see something and I'm like "really? That's what that's for?" LOL

Lisa if look at Morels ,in case you have never seen a newly picked one they just look disturbing to the virgin shroom eye. was really floored because 4 guys, two beds..These strange objects on the table.....hmmmmm I was wondering if there was a note in a tackle box that hadn't been read.
