That big of an improvement? I haven't been tracking mine.
Thats awesome you are getting that big of a gain. DP will pay for itself in no time.
yea, i was surprised a bit too Lisa.
the truck was not getting very good mileage for over 8 months now. the best i have been able to get was 12mpg.in town driving was under 10 mpg, with a few times as low as 7 mpg. one of the problems was the tube going from the passenger exhaust manifold to the sensor behind the water pump on the front of the engine was plugged solid. i swapped it out for a new tube, but that only got me into the 11-14 mpg range.
so it seems there was something else major wrong that the chip fixed, because the doubling of the mileage is in 80E and a few 120R romps, and i am not talking easy driving either around town. i do see i have to put a pressure regulator in the map sensor line though, because i can only get about 750- 800 ft at full throttle before it shuts down due to over boost.
this thing is wicked crazy. it hits 26-27 lbs of boost almost instantly, and will smoke the tires on a dead dig from a stop.
Lisa, I just don't know about eating the butt plugs.
Jay they're just mushrooms.

Are you talking about the EBPV sensor, and tube? I need to clean mine too. My EBPV stopped working entirely, the high idle doesn't even kick on anymore. Since its spring I haven't been on it too much, but once winter rolls around I'll need to get that fixed.
I also need an overboost solution. Even in 80E I hit 25 lbs within a few seconds and the truck defuels. No fun! Lets not even talk about 120R...
When I'm full on throttle in 120R, the truck will chip the tires every time it shifts. Wicked....Its even faster with the new tires, because I don't just sit there and spin I actually get traction.
We're taking the truck to Omaha in a few weeks. I'll track my mileage and let ya know!

Hand calculate mileage or are you trusting the lie-o-meter? The tuner plays with the PCM settings, so the computer display may not be accurate. With mileage that low, I'd check your up pipes for signs of leaks. The EBP tube won't give you that kind of increases, and the chip won't either. If the chip really did double everyone's mileage, it would be in great big bold letters on Jody's website.
My friend is stupid, he suggested putting a dual 3 inch exhaust on my truck. he thought I was stupid for thinking about going with a 4 in dp to 5 in exhaust.
Hey guys. Hey John. Just watching SNL short skits. Did you have a good weekend? What happened at the grocery store?

Hahaha...not unless the deer are into the kinky stuff.
Funny Randy just got home from out of town, saw the mushrooms sitting on the BBQ. I was upstairs in the bath tub and he peeked in and said "where'd all those Morels come from?"
He was shocked to hear that they came from our yard. I guess he knows exactly what they are and how to cook them. Supposedly good Morels sell for up to $50 a pound.

Hey Lisa! It's just one of those things. The kids want everything they see. If Jamie goes by herself with them, they come back with a boatload of crap they don't need. When I go, they still bug a little but they know what I mean when I say NO.
How was your day? I'm looking back through about ten subscribed threads trying to catch up.
Well, I think there is a 2nd job in the future for those ....... It shouldn't take but maybe 4 or 5 to make a pound
yeah, we just went out there again and found more.

Yeah that's kids for ya. They are opportunistic by nature. Every person is, kids just don't know their boundaries yet. If Jamie gives in, they understand and take advantage of the situation. Hell I was a kid once, I remember doing the same thing. I didn't get away with much with my dad, but if one of my sisters took me somewhere (they are 8 and 10 years older than me) ...yeah...I usually got away with stuff.
My day was good. Kept busy all day. Mowed an acre with a standard lawnmower, cleaned up the rest of the leaves we had in the yard, planted some flowers, swept the porch, put up our new hummingbird feeder, did a little weeding, painted my grille and center caps.....Put up some lattice for our morning glories.

I think thats it.
Yep. I think Jamie would sometimes rather give in than listen to the whining. Not me. I have an understanding with my kids and if they start whining and don't listen, we take a little walk.
You got more accomplished than me. Had a lot of stuff on the list but the weather kept me from a lot of it. That and I had to wait for the broom rider to pick up my oldest son. Got the grocery shopping done, trash gone, mowed yesterday, dogs bathed, and I think that's about it.

You were in the bathtub and thats all he had to say?
