well, unfortunatly Jim, with the rain ending it is back to work for me come monday morning.
and no offense, but you ain't nowhere as hot as Lisa is.
If you thought otherwise I would have to nick name you fruitcake.
We are going to be there on Saturday and maybe Sunday if needed. We are doing the exhaust on his truck and his guages. He also has an electrical problem that I have to track down for him. We may do the swaybar bushings on my truck as well.
This is how our back yard looked after 3" of rain in about a 2 hour span yestarday. We were hit with baseball size hail at my mom and dads place.luckly not much damage, just a quick hit and it stoped.
That sounds like a pretty good storm, Brad. Glad there wasn't much damage. Hail damge can get pricey in a hurry.
Ok, y'all are going to love this. This morning, I made a run into Willis to get my oil changed and get some tacos for breakfast. As I pull up the main light in town, a guy about 40 or so pulls up next to me in a nice Mustang. It's lowered and has all of the goodies. Nice car and it sounded good too. I look down and I can see that he has the 5 speed manual and he's revving the engine and jumping on the line. I look ahead and the conditions for a race aren't right. I am in the left lane and there are cars and people turning into the grocery store. There's no way I am going to make a run, and possibly kill someone, so I decide to just let him go. His lane is clear. The light goes green and he punches it and takes off. As he hits second gear, he barks the tires and is really pulling away when all of the sudden, there is the huge cloud of white smoke from under the car. I mean HUGE cloud of smoke. I can also see oil draining onto the ground behind the car as he comes to a stop in the middle of the street.
You guys know me. I had to do it.
I crept up on him, flipped into my 140 setting, and just rolled a layer of coal all over his pretty, white, broke down Mustang. Oh, it was beautiful.......
I do not know what happened, but when I came back by later there was a wrecker hooking onto him to pull him home.

It was a bad storm torandos hit part of the county and flash flooding all over.I-55 was shut down when it flood it.Never thought I would see that in my life!I am going to mom and dads in a little while to see today what it looks like.
Jim,I built the play set myself and there's a play house around the corner. You can see they can make all the mud pie's they want in the back yard.LOL
Reminds me, I used to live down the street from a guy who had an Eagle Talon..lifted with 44" tires on it. lol.
Hey, a lot of guys spend a hundred thousand dollars on a sportscar so that people will point and look...turns out all they had to do was take their old car, chop the body off, and put it on big tires.
theres a difference between pointing and admiring and pointing and laughing!

My nephew is doing fine. They cauterized the stomach ulcers they found while they were scoping him the other day. He has done fine holding down food now and hasn't had the stomach aches he'd been having.
We're keeping our fingers crossed that both of them are successfully on the mend now. Thanks for asking. How are things on your end?
Good to hear they are doing Better!

Good lord, I'd love it if crazy neighbor lady thought I was insane...so I just might do that!

Yeah sure, I can install a DP in about 5 minutes, after doing it once. I must admit, the bolt that holds the pin connector on the engine compartment side of the PCM is kinda hard to get to. I have an advantage because of my small hands. I sit IN the engine compartment when I do a lot of the work on my truck.

HAHA! That is awesome. What a dillweed. You just made his "ego" shrink about 4 inches. His wife is going to be a very unsatisfied woman for a real long time thanks to you Scott.

Ehhh..Its still attention right? Who cares what most people think. I do stuff because I think its neat, not because I give a rat's *** what other people think. Except my friends, I care what they think.
I'm not the type of person who would go out and spend 100k on a car just to look cool though.
Hey Brad. Glad to hear you made it through the storms ok. We hit a real bad storm on our way through Iowa into Nebraska last night. Saw on the news that a lot of the midwestern-southern states just got slammed last night.
Had to come inside and take a break. Am out back working on the jet ski trailer, adjusting the boards and the winch to fit our ski, and that humidity is just kicking my ***.
Lisa, that's funny about that guy's wife......I'd like to be a fly on their bedroom wall.
Mine will chirp going into 3rd in 80E and 120. I can squeal the tires all dang day long on a start. In fact next week I might just smoke the tires, seein as how I am getting some new ones. Or would that be irresponsible of me?
No, It would be irresponsible of you didn't smoke them

Humid here to Scott, in the form of freakin rain again. We had a bit of sun yesterday and back to rain today. I shouldn't have washed and waxed the truck yesterday
