I'm driving to Maryland. It was spitting a little last night, but nothing much. I got my hotel room & 10 minutes after settling in, it was pouring down. Good & lucky timing!! I'm about to kill my guts on the free breakfast bar, but Holiday Inn shouldn't be too bad... wish me luck!
The dogs just finished eating, so I better get to it. Talk to y'all in a day or so!
//SNIP//
Joe is that a cat taking a poop in your yard?
Edit: you and Randy I swear were separated at birth. He loves a nice clean yard without a lot of misc. plants and brush. At my old house he wanted to get rid of all the plants and just have grass. He tried to cut down my lilac bushes.
LMFAO!!! I was wondering if anyone would see the cat!! No, he's not leaving me a present. He's just stepping up into the mulch around the base of the tree. Caught him in a funny position I guess.
The only problem with the separated at birth thing is that I'm a few years older. Let him know I'll say Hi to Mom, though.
I hope everyone elses morning is goin better than mine!
This time change got me good last night. I got home around 1230 and couldnt sleep. My cold gave me trouble all night. I turned over looked what time it was and it was like 130. Well 45 minutes later I looked again and it 315! I had to get up at 7 to go pack all the bounces up. Took about 30 minutes but spill feel like crap. Im gonna probably take a nap before the race comes on considering I got breakfast and went grocery shopping all before 9am! Thats NEVER happened!

Few clouds windy and sunshine here on the east side of MO.
I wasnt quite to that point. Not many nights you can drink a few with old friends so we made the best of it! College helped me type in variety of circumstances!
We have plenty of hills around. No way I was being the taxi for the day though!
I know what you mean about the taxi.
Brendan, good luck with the gut busting breakfast.
As far as saws I like my 357xp husky. I also have a 460 and my dad has a 55. They are good saws. My dad let my sisters' husband(we usually dont claim him Ha Ha) borrow his 55 and he Fd it all up. So he went and bought a Stihl. I cant say anything bad about it either. The good thing about Stihl is that they have a lot of metal where the husky's are plastic.
Holiday Inn has decent stuff there. I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express for 5 months in 2007. It was really nice. I usually ate hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, maybe some toast, and a bowl of raisin bran for breakfast. Just stay away from those cinnamon bun things.... They're evil. LMAO!!!
It was funny because everyone just assumed I was gonna take them everywhere since I got up, stood out in the cold and got the snow off the truck, and stopped by with a 4x4. No sir!
Buddy of mine, Chris, was going to get PGTAXI on his plates because no one else likes to drive. I love to drive...maybe its because I have a truck that is reliable and has the badazz PSD in it!
Lisa, we had a huge lilac bush in my front yard growing up....most of the family pics were taken with it as a background!
We also had deep purple and white lilacs in the back yard...grew up with that fragrance all around!
karaoke wos ok...woulda been better if I was drinkin!
I love lilac bushes. Nothin beats the smell of blooming lilac. I had a light purple one and a dark purple one at my house. They were huge, very old.

One night, I said "f it", talked the band into letting me front for one song, and totally BUTCHERED "Mustang Sally". I knew the words, but I froze up. The only time I got anything right was when it came to "RIDE SALLY! RIIIDE!"
After that night, I swore to myself that I wouldn't embarass myself like that again.
THAT, my friend, is testament to why I do not sing karaoke. I'd do the same thing.

Yea..I'm not much of a night owl. You aren't old until you admit defeat.

I saw the cat right away. Nice yard BTW. I showed it to Randy and he laughed.

Have a safe drive today Brendan!
Morning everybody!
Good morning!
Good morning everyone else. Its still raining here. And raining and raining and raining.
Good morning everyone!! Our little snowstorm we were supposed to get resulted in nothing more than a heavy frost...
I'm heading to Baker, time for some boarding....
Lisa, send some of that rain up this way, it would really help getting rid of that damned snow, I'm sick of seeing it.
Here's what I did last night.
It was an absolute joy.............NOT. What a mess. I hauled about 40 gallons of "water" out so I had a "clean" tank to install the new pump. I have to go back in today and adjust the floats again, the alarm goes off befor the pump kicks on Should be a little better this time, everything is still "clean".
I noticed a smell of sewage gas last night, just like when the vent stack froze up earlier this year. When I went to check on the lift station, i noticed the light for the alarm was on, "someone" had silenced the alarm. Long story longer, I ended up having to replace the pump. The worst part is I now have a mess to clean up in the crawl space/utility room under the stairs. Turns out the overflow for the water heater is plumbed into the drain that goeas into the lift station, when the pump failed, and the alarm didn't alert me to it , it flooded the area with some nasty water. Should be a fun day cleaning that mess up. My advise for anyone with a lift station, make sure you have an alarm on it and make sure that it isn't on silence mode
