It is said that engineers take 3 minutes to resolve this, architects 3 hours and doctors 6 hours, salesmen typically ignore it altogether and throw away the challenge, and lawyers' get hung up trying to argue that "this just proves that 1 plus 1 does NOT equal 2".

We fast tracked him and he is out in the plant right now on a CNC machine. Seems to know his stuff so far. He's got all of the G-codes down and is not intimidated by the machine at all. We've got him running some easy parts, -.000 +.005 tolerance though. We'll see how he does when he gets to the -.000 +.0005 parts. That's the real acid test.
