It's not me that's a character from a Canadian mockumentary called Trailer Park Boys. That's Bubbles and he loves kitties so he's got a kitty on his head.

I've been going all the time and over spring break I was actually turning away work cause I was just too busy. Work hard people find out and they want you to work for them. That's what I've found. Maybe I'm different but I know for fact that the majority of those people aren't even looking for work. That or they say they want to work but really don't want to. They just go to mommy and daddy for money all the time.

blah.

hospitals suck.
i got a blood pressure spike this morning at the corner deli, and almost passed out.
it was 213/121 in the meat wagon at 11:40 am.
they still don't know why. gave me some pills and it dropped down to 129/72 by 1pm.
i finally convinced them to let me go and i got home a little while ago, but i had to promise to follow up with my doc tomorrow.

Hey Tom, no skipping out on the follow-up!

To state the obvious, those kind of fluctuations are really dangerous. You need to find the root cause and get a handle on it!!

Good luck with it amigo.

Excellent philosophy.
I find that to be true at my business as well.
When everyone else is slow around me, I'm still booked out a week in advance.

And Tom, I hope they figure out what's going on with you.

Morning everyone, today & tomorrow and it's the weekend...or at least for me. Anyone want to show up for me Monday at 0200 so I can sleep in for once on a Monday?

You live & learn. Oh well, if I could have gotten away with it I would have pointed a couple of the groups that kind of thinking would apply to (like lawyers)...but then I'd most likely gotten into more trouble.

Some folks...like myself...were/are looking for a particular field of work. While I was unemployed (7 months, 13 days) I could have climbed back into a truck and run across country, but I knew I would hate it and didn't want to be gone for weeks at a time away from the family. So I keep looking for something else. Yes, I'm back railroading, working at a lower rate and I'm out of town...but I'm home every weekend. Hopefully things will pick up soon and I'll be able to find something closer to home. Can't exactly afford to sell my house; and not to wild about moving the family down here were I'm working right now.

I'll agree with you on that....they like to rape people via their pocket book. But like everyone else is saying, get that blood pressure checked out...those are some scary numbers.

Woohoo!!! I made it to 10,000 posts!!

I need lots of rep now cause someone accidently neg repped me and the powers that be are having trouble removing it...

He sent me a pm and the moderator sent one also explaining what happened...

.................................................. ...........................

According to the dictionary, "YIELD" means "to give way". According to the average driver, it means "go like hell/you can make it/screw them""

.................................................. ...........................

hmmm it seems poetic that this is page 666 at 40 posts per page!
