Well for all who tried to help out on my physics box thanks and I found the problem. The guy I was supposed to be working on it with.

The sand was his idea.

I went back and stuffed the interior box with painters rags, switched to lighter bungees, and weighted it on one end so it would fall the way I want it to.

I dropped it from 40' and the box and its contents held up fine so it should be ok.
