Last Monday I applied at Concerto Foods they were looking for a maint tech with strong electrical skills. As I was driving there Pat called me to shoot the chit. I had to cut the conversation short because I was at the place he wished me luck. Well an hour later I called Pat and asked him what he thought being a maint manager himself, as to the secretary taking my resume and bringing it right to the plant manager and him and the maint boss interviewing me right away and then the plant manager giving me his card and saying to call him Friday at 2 if I don;t hear from them. Pat said that you got the job congrats. They called me friday and scheduled a 2nd interview for today at 11. I toured the plant and the maint boss kept saying we and you and I as we went through things that need to be done. They called me at 3:30 and offered me the job I have to meet with them tomorrow to discuss start date and $$.
I took the same exact route and called Pat today at the same point that he had called me, call it supersticious but it worked.
Woohoo!!!!! Congrats Jim.
If I were out of work that long, I'd be a workin girl by now haha
it has been 8 months for me...and almost 3 months since I got any income...
10 minutes ago the Matco dealer picked up my tool box and some tools I bought...he said they will give me 50% of the value for the stuff in good shape...then bill me for the rest of the money I owe...I laughed.
Your Welcome, if I waited that long I'd be under a bridge in a refrigerator box.
Steve it came real close a few times trust me. I will be honest there were a few people in our forum (99-03 PSD) that went way above and beyond anything that you could have ever imagined. I will be eternally grateful to those people. I love them as family.

You don't want that for Christmas....I make a pretty scary present.
LOL...well, I don't want to get graphic and make anyone lose their dinner. I'll just say, I like my men kinda hairy. I can't speak for other women...just myself. I know I can't be the only one. Tom Selleck was popular for a reason..
Just telling this to let you know...She's out there somewhere Jim, and she digs the hair.
