It is a 97 Mustang Coupe color is red. This kid wanted 3K for it and I got it for 1K and one of the old vans that I had from my business. It needs a few small things but the body and interior are in great shape. He is having a new exhaust installed today and I will be picking it up tomorrow morning. Now I have to decide do I keep it or sell it for a profit?
Guess people went and got lives since last night lol
I just got back from a 7 hr ice cream catering job. Only worked maybe two hours of it though. It was a wedding reception and they wanted us set up by 530 even though we didnt start scooping ice cream untill 930...

My only experience with gen 1 mustangs were a couple of rustbuckets i restored when I was doing bodywork right after high school. I don't know if it was just being original rust belt cars or what, but I welded in most of the bottom half of the vehicle in fixing them. One was a straight six, 3 spd manual, the other was a pony mode 6 cyl. automatic. All you'll find worth the money is off colors.....too many bright shiny red ones with the hot motors got wrapped around trees and bridge piling by kids who could not handle them or adults who thought they could.
i agree happens even with newer cars... you wouldnt believe how many "accident reports" ive read in about them "exotic"/"limited edditions" have been totaled either from pure accidents or from people just showing off and losing it... read about one where a guy hadnt even had his Ford GT (not the mustang the actual GT worth over $100K) 3 days before he totaled it showing off... front end was compacted right up to the windshield...
personally id want something like midnight blue or something like that for a color if i could get my hands on a classic or built one myself....

Hey Alicia! hi Shawn!
I'm doing great! it's finally chilly out in the mornings which is awesome! and the best news is that today I'll likely be helping my buddy move some of his stuff out of his ex's house!!! she is SUCH the PITA, he's just put up with her for far too long. WOOOHOOO!!! I'm calling a bunch of the guys and having a mandatory cookout party for him tonight! And I might even make sure she finds out that we celebrated it! hahaha
how's everyone doing today? did you get any decent sleep last night Alicia?

Good Morning All. Well I went to go pick up the Mustang yesterday and the guy was supposed to be installing a new exhaust system. He decided that tons of JB Weld all over the holes would work out instead. The new system is supposed to be going on today. Did he think that I wan not going to look under it? Dee Dee Dee

No, I didn't get a decent night sleep. I finally kicked the dogs off the bed when they wanted to play grabass at 5am. Between that and waiting up for the coyote...

Yeah, I rarely let the dogs sleep on the bed. If Logan is sick/feeling crappy, he'll jump up & lay down for the night, but that's happened twice in almost 8 years. He's too big for one, and I'm just not a fan of pets on the furniture.
