What kind of quad do you have again? I'm looking at a 2003 Yamaha Warrior. 350cc so no a monster, but still could get me in plenty of trouble!! I'll definitely end up with a 4x4 at some point, especially once I'm back in CO, but the sport ones are fun too!
I don't have my own quad yet, just a dirt bike that is in pieces right now. I would definitely get a 4X4 and not a sport quad. I ride my buddies sport and it is ok unless the trails are a little muddy. Then YOU are real muddy also. That can be fun but you don't always want to be dirty.

Good morning Shawn. I may need to make a trip to Iowa

Kinda yeah, kinda no, the good is I made like 3 grand in my pocket from the one day of work. I definately charged more for working on a holiday, and it was an "emergency" call to get the job done too, so the price goes up a bit more then.

I'll end up with both I'm sure. 4x4s are more functional & useful, but just like dirt bike's - an XR is fun but a CR/CRF is just raucous!!! I've ridden both and especially since I'll get a better deal on the sport one, I'll start there.
Transformers 2 is out on DVD today, and you KNOW I'm getting a copy ASAP!!!
saw fords new lil unibody pickup today... i dont like it...
More details. Which model is that?

Yep. They are all fun. Just depends on what kind of riding you do the most is one or the other makes sense. I won't be able to afford both so I will probably go for the 4X4 myself. A friend has a Yamaha Rhino UTV. Those things are pretty cool also.
not sure really... just saw it as i passed by the local dealership on my way home... looks kinda like a cross between a 91 suzuki sidekick and a john deer gator... but instead of an open bed its got a very short like a panel van box on the back but its about the side of a dump bed on an atv... and the things low to the ground... i dont think the things really much longer than a geo metro.. and probably same size tires too..
Thanks for the well wishes. I am starting to feel better.

Brendan, IMO a 350cc quad is not enough quad for you....my aunt as a 350 cc utility quad, can't remember what they call it, anyhow, that thing is seriously underpowered and slow! I think you'll want at least 450cc.
you call yourself a farm boy, but you don't know how to make anfo??
when i was a kid, we were making it before we could drive the tractors.
clearing stumps out of new Fields was my job until i was old enough to work the fields on a tractor.
Ive honestly never heard of it before, we have never used explosives on our farm, and my dad is a scaredy cat so he doesnt tell me about highly dangeous stuff, hell he doesnt even let me shoot a .22 around the farm. im sure I will look that stuff up when I get home since the school wouldn't like me searching how to make explosives.
Thanks for the well wishes. I am starting to feel better.
