I know the newer 'Stangs handle better, etc. but there was nothing like cruising in my '66 hardtop - 289, 4-barrel & 4-speed with full duals. She could idle down a flat road in 3rd, then mash it and she'd light 'em up.... fly weight, 225hp & skinny a$$ tires will do that for ya!!! HAHAHAHA
I got the "thanks for visiting" email from the company in CO, so no job there. SUCKS. I've found a few others, closer to Denver that I'm going after, but man, I really thought I had that one, and I REALLY wanted it too... fark.
I'm off to watch my nephews play soccer & football today... my one nephew is quite the demon on the football field, but I hear that wrestling is just outright hysterical to watch.

you aint the only one... i wish i could get my hands on a gen 1 stang.. im probably gonna have to build it from scratch to get it though..... only thing is i know it wont be a "matching numbers model" cuz id rather have a 5 spd or 6 spd in it... and if i remember right they came with only a 3 and 4 spd in them...
