I woke up at 7:30, normally I get a call when I'm not at work by 6:30!?! Called my father, read as boss between 7 - 4, and he was like " huh I didn't even notice what time it was"

I wish I had a boss like that, I was 3 minutes late to work Friday...got caught by a funeral (not saying it's a bad thing). Anyway I get a call wondering where the heck I'm at, for two days that's all I heard...call when your going to be late. Maybe I'm stupid, but why in the world would I call my boss and say "I'm going to be 3 minutes late because of a funeral"? Now 10 minutes or more....yeah, need to call. We stood around for 45 after I got there waiting for a crew taxi to take us to where we needed to be, and our paperwork wasn't even ready. Guess had I been there on-time we wouldn't have had that those problems.

april first for me was waking up at 2 am to go to work sick as a dog, with soaking wet bedding from sweating.
i took some antibiotics and went back to bed after changing the sheets.
i feel a little better now, but i still ain't going in tomorrow.

Geez Tom. You didn't eat some really old food again did you? At least I seem to remember that you did...
I don't know if you remember me saying quite a while back that my mig welder stopped working but I finally took the time to look at it recently. After some trial and error I figured out what had gone bad...the temp switch got stuck between two settings. D'oh!!
