Pat, I am going to have to keep on the fuel here. I run powerservice or Diecyl Plus from Total year around and haven't had any problems in 2 1/2 years of daily driving.
I've used Stanadyne ever since I've had the truck. This is the first problem I've had with it. It was just as cold last winter, and it never gelled up once!
Maybe the reason diesel is down from $5 to $2.50 is that they are using water as an additive. A 75/25 mix of #2 diesel and water should bring the price down quite a bit.

Yeah, bring down the price, and a lot of trucks with it!!
it sounds like a circle. crappy fuel leads to work at service stations which leads to money for the dealerships which leads to making more vehicles which leads to selling more vehicles with leads to selling more crappy fuel.
Good Morning Scott, Miles, Orin, Michelle, and the rest of the Wyoming clan! Hope you all had a great Christmas! Scott, it was 41 when I left the house at 6:30! Hope you guys don't get too much nasty weather!
Good evening to all that may still come this way. Hope every one had a great Christmas. I enjoyed family and friends and even got something so I must have not been all bad. I will have to check but if Scott is having a fun day today I will more than likely have this fun tomorrow. The wind is still kicking along pretty good this eve.
good evening everyone. I had an interesting day. My girlfriend left yesterday to go to Rapid City and took the new house keys with her. It's a good thing I went to improvised locksmith school or I wouldn't have been able to do much today. I never really believed that you could pick a lock with a credit card but now I do. I managed to get most of everything moved since tomorrow is supposed to be snowy. I hope everyone has a nice weekend.
