I'm afraid the fact that I'm still 1000 miles too far North is raising it's ugly head here aslo. 52 and rain all weekend. It goes into the teens here far too often for me here in Charlotte.
Halloween update: I am no longer going to be Bob the Builder.....I am now going to be CAPTAIN CAVEMAN
So...whats your costume going to be. You can't not dress up on Halloween Travis...

I feel the exact same way about horror movies. Ones with monsters or that are sci fi or whatever, don't bother me. I am with you I don't really want to watch a movie that is a reinactment of some psycho's killing spree.

I take it you were having problems with that Andrew? Did I inadvertently answer some questions you've been longing to know the answer to?

Ray, I'd trade with you in a NY second. I am sitting here dreading the winter already. Just winterizing the motor home seems like an insurmountable task right now.

Now movies like the Saw series can sometimes get to me because some of those things I can see some psycho really doing. The opening scene of Saw III specifically comes to mind, where the guy is tied up by chains with hoops that are pierced into different parts of his body. When he stars ripping those things out to try and escape, that got to me for some reason. The night we rented it, I was feeling bad already, hadn't eaten much all day, and during that scene I almost puked. Got all sweaty, headed for the bathroom, got light headed and nearly passed out, collapsing on the floor, somewhere between the bathroom door and the toilet. Never did puke, but that was no fun.
Something about the blood and stuff that can be real just gets to me. Same thing with watching surgeries and operations. I can't watch them. Makes me queasy.
Edit:
Danny, what are you talking about?
I am with you on the surgery thing. I cannot watch those

Ray, that is the kind of weather I enjoy. Rainy and 50's here in MO today...and I've got to help a friend move today. Hopefully at least the sun comes out a little later.

You know, I think he's in Naples right now. It is effin perfect there. Nearly tropical. I almost made it there for good a couple of years ago and stopped to build a huge deck for a friend and ended up flat broke with nowhere to go. Some friend, huh?
I like rainy, cold weather as well. That and a big pot of sausage and shrimp gumbo with some hot cornbread and butter.
Good stuff.
Well, I've managed to **** off the QA, Shipping and Customer Service departments today. Next up, IT. I'm going to be wildly unpopular by the end of the day. Doesn't matter though, we shipped a record number of parts this week with me on the bridge.
We've had a good hard freeze the past couple nights.
Funny a few days ago my flowers were blooming still and tomato plants going crazy. This morning I went out and my tomato plants were flat and flowers gone...
Supposed to be in the 60's - 70's this weekend. Maybe I'll decorate for Halloween.
