Of course next in line for this topic would be manual or electric bush trimmers, or a combination of both.
You gotta have both. Electric is good for the most part with it being quick, quiet, and a clean & even cut. For the detail work up close to the deck though, manual is the only way to go.

Lisa, I'm not sure about having the deck waxed. I've heard a few guys that have done it though. Used some kind of Brazilian wax I think.

Ummm yes, getting ones deck polished is a very tiring job. I definatley recommend having your wife or girlfriend (not both, unless they are not of the jealous type), help you with this. You will definatley sleep better after getting your deck polished.
