I dunno..I like mine manual and old fashioned.

The newfangled electric kind don't really do anything for me...

I've always said...unless that trimmer is attached to a man, I don't want anything to do with it...

hhmmm... I have gas, electric, and manual. Each has their pluses.

But I have to tear my Ryobi combo (trimmer, edger, blower, pole saw, etc) apart. It's running like chit and leaking fuel.

lmao. I think Joe is the only one of us who responded to that question with any ounce of seriousness.

Joe..maybe if you get your deck waxed it'll help with some of this excess energy.

You gotta have both. Electric is good for the most part with it being quick, quiet, and a clean & even cut. For the detail work up close to the deck though, manual is the only way to go.

Heck no. I wouldn't want anything on my deck that wasn't specifically made for application to the deck.

Lisa, I'm not sure about having the deck waxed. I've heard a few guys that have done it though. Used some kind of Brazilian wax I think.

That's the good thing about my new synthetic deck, don't stain, won't sag, resist fungus (major), and stays hard for years...

I wasn't talking about any type of wax to remove bushes...

Maybe I should have directed him to get his deck POLISHED.

That TOTALLY depends on how you define "trimmer, edger, pole saw, etc."....

And I agree with that last part... "Wax on, wax off....."

Ummm yes, getting ones deck polished is a very tiring job. I definatley recommend having your wife or girlfriend (not both, unless they are not of the jealous type), help you with this. You will definatley sleep better after getting your deck polished.
