Thought this was neat and wanted to share with you guys. Our neighbors and friends for years have been unsuccessfully trying for a baby for years. Finally this year they decided to try the IVF (Invetro). Very drawn out process, very taxing on both parents. Very, very expensive. 6 days of growing the egg in a dish, and on the third day after the implant, nights of sleeplessness, She looks out her front window and sees this. She knew then all was well. Now 15 weeks later, all it still well.
I have seen a lot of rainbows, but never had my own personal one.
That is neat Barry. My oldest daughter tried for years to get in the family way and never could. They finally did that also, I remember it was 15k 13 years ago, I can't imagine what it must be now.
Awesome story and rainbow Barry! Sounds like a happy ending too! Years ago a bunch of us were camped out at Lake Powell and a massive monsoon rainstorm rolled in, after it was over there was a mini rainbow about 50 ft from my boat! I got a picture of it, but it's not digital, no way to get it on here

Sure there is. If you don't have a scanner, lots of places will do it for you. I've scanned lots of my old pictures. You'd be surprised what a nice job just a hundred dollar scanner will do.
May be pushing my luck here, even in the OT thread. What's everyone seeing around town, no matter where you live. I am seeing lots of McCain/Palin signs in yards and absolutely no Obama. But on the other hand I am seeing quite a few Obama bumper stickers. Does that mean that folks that are going to vote for Obama live in their cars?
Mark, I'm seeing a mix of everything around here. Both parties being supported. Both having negative stuff...like the NObama and Maveric/MILF. There's not one in particular that stands out. What I have noticed different is that it seems there are more signs and stickers overall than I've noticed in years past. Perhaps it's just me paying more attention though.
