Please be quiet about the snow, it was 92* here in the god forsaken desert. We are supposed to be a chilly 88* tomorrow.
Have you ever heard the song "Furnace Fan" by Robert Earl Keen? It's about how hot it is in Arizona and every time I hear it I think about you and Troy.
You can fry an egg out there on the city sidewalk
You can fry your bacon and and and and
I understand why lizards live in sunny arizona
Why people do and call it home I'll never understand....
Mom just sent me this picture of Buck.
He is getting too old to walk very well, but he still loves the beach.
He is half Doberman and half something else. They have had three such dogs, same breed for the past 20+ years.
Thought I might add a pic of the family, its Homecoming week and todays theme was character day. Since my wife teaches Literature, she thought the Cat in the hat was appropriate for her, Alli, the oldest at 12, has just recently fallen in love with the I Love Lucy show, so thats who she wanted to be. (God love her, she already has the awkward klutzy part down pat.) Finally we have Ansley (8) as the Scarecrow from the Wizard of OZ.

I got a doberman, dumb as a rock and always wanting to play. Buck does look like he is ready to play even in his old age though.
