Chris, when you said "Montgomery County" you piqued my interest. I have a cousin who just retired from the county rec department this summer. From what he has said about what the county rec department does, you must have some mighty fine highschool teams. 'Course, this happening in the richest county in the nation!

That's funny!!! Never heard that one before!!! I was in HS 20yrs ago (literally!!) and even in NJ they hadn't heard of it much. Now, it's much more spread out, but it doesn't mesh well with current sports programming styles... there's not enough downtime for commercials.

Lisa - I'm with Jeremy - go for #1 - the CXT is just too blocky for me, and the other is a Ford anyway! An engagement truck is a KILLER idea!!!

Travis, that's a heck of a big bull. Can't believe the guy took that thing with a bow. I have very little experience or knowledge of bow hunting though and they're probably a lot more deadly than I think.

Nolan...like Lisa said...seriously? How do you not see/feel/hear a car stuck under a truck? Must have been a little car.

Chris, that sucks about the state game. Doesn't really help to give a positive attitude to the kids in school.

I had a few guys that I tended to really **** off during a game too. If there was no nose guard, I'd always go after the middle linebacker. Those guys were shocked to all of a sudden have some guy in their face. I put a few of them on their backs too, then help them up after the play was over. We had a pretty quick running back, and the linebacker may have gotten in on the tackle, but not before I was at least able to slow them down and get our backs another couple yards. It was fun...would cause the defense to have to play shallow, then we'd drop a deep bomb on them. Our coach was more of a ground pounder though, so we stuck to the running game the majority of the time. He'd always say 4 yards at a time on every play. That made it seem pretty easy, and we'd just march our way down the field 3-4 yards at a time...of course we had some big plays in there too when the backs broke a tackle and took off.

I miss football a lot though. Loved the game. I wanted to walk on at Mizzou when I was in college, but figured at my size I'd have to learn a whole new position and didn't know how that would work out. I never counted on game time, but at least being able to practice would have been fun. Looking back, I wish I would have at least tried and gone to talk to the coaches. I wonder if there's a rec league that has full contact football? Now that could be fun!

The wound channel of a broad head on an arrow is pretty large. Placement is key, but if you get a pass through shot with good placement, its very easy to trail. A bow is just as lethal as a shotgun slug....just a lot more difficult to get close enough for the shot.

On the serious side, I worked part time all through high school...and was never terriffic in sports anyway. I made my choice and have no regrets.... its when I started wrenching, rebuilding( buying wrecks and fixing them), and ironically staying out of trouble with cars. Its even more amazing considering I still have the 68 roadrunner I had in high school.....fun car to drive, but the brakes by todays standards are scary.

I like the yellow CXT's for some reason.

Yeah I'm not so sure Randy wanted to spend $70,000 on a truck (or a ring for that matter).

He'd have some crazy idea that the money could be used as a downpayment on a house.

They do, at least, here in Colorado. My best friend's husband plays in a full contact league. I'm pretty sure he had to sign a dislcaimer dismissing his rights to sue them in case he accidentally breaks a leg or ends up dead somehow...lol

Did the CXT sustain any damage? Or is that a stupid question. lol. Note to self: don't get into accidents with vehicles 5x my size. Not only will it be my fault, but I might get drug 100ft down the street, in which case, it's still my fault.

a broadhead on an arrow is probably even deadlier then a bullet IF it's a well placed shot in the vitals. The problem is getting close enough to make that shot.....absolutely everything has to be perfect conditions to get an animal like this close enough with a Bow. Stuff like this gets me going 1000% more then PMS anyday

That thing is bigger than I thought, you would look HOT driving that thing, Lisa!

Troy used to play in a full contact league up in Co., I think he played on Washington and 88th at the high school right there.

Tell us how you feel Travis.

Jeremy, an arrow moving at a slow rate of speed, does a whole lot more damage than a bullet moving at a high rate of speed. Sometimes a bullet will slice through an animal in such a way that the animal is hardly impaired by it.

Think about making a nice clean cut, as compared to a jagged cut, that tears into the flesh more..thats sort of the difference between an arrowhead and a bullet.

That and combined with the fact that bow hunters have to be much closer to their targets, and have more of a chance of hitting vital areas with more accuracy.

Hey thanks! I'm sure i'd scare the living **** out of everyone else. lol.

Cris you should ask Troy if he remembers a big guy named Kris Bradshaw, big huge guy 6'5" or so, 330 lbs, big black goatee..dumb as a rock.

Selling tickets to a high school reunion? Man if mine does that, they can forget about my happy *** showin up.

Brandon,

Apparently, this is Carroll Shelby's CXT.

Well if we got a matching pair, we'd have to learn to brew bio. I wouldn't want to pay the price of filling up that fuel tank. Or, what I could do is, take out a life insurance policy on myself, go fuel up, see how much I owe, die of a heart attack, and then Randy can use the money to pay the fuel bill.

Just had my 10th last year, and they charged about the same, $180. Needless to say I didn't go, and just met up with all my friends at the local bar. But then, I've lived in this town since birth so it wasn't hard to track down my friends.
