My wife is highly allergic to the stuff. Problem is she has trouble remembering that. Last year she burned some of it that was almost dead. Got it all over her. This year she found some and decided to go over it with the push mower. Of course she's also the type to wipe the sweat off her face or scratch if she thinks she might have an itch. The swelling was so bad this year I had to take her to the doctor. A steroid shot followed by pills for 5 days will clear things up if your eye starts getting worse. Hers was almost swollen shut. The shot made a difference within the hour.

yeah i think i either had it on my glove and scratched my face or was on the rag i used to wipe my face off. either way my efforts to avoid it sucked. i worked on a landscape crew for the DOT on summer and all we did was clear brush on bridge embankments. we had this greasy stuff called Stoko Guard (spelling?) to put on, but i couldn't just gob this vaseline like stuff all over my face and neck. with long sleeves and pants and gloves i thought i'd be ok. nope. i ended up with it all over my chest and stomach. so out came the stiff bristle hair brush, and i scratched it until it oozed, and the took the bottle of bleach and poured it straight on. burned like hell, but i'll be danged if it wasn't completely dried up in two days. another time i had it i ended up with the steroids, but no shot.

They do, but they are in a sealed housing. Our four-wheeler also uses one and I have had it in water clear over the belt housing with no problems.

You can try a bath in either Epsom Salts or an Oatmeal bath. A company called Aveno make one that works well.

Nick, snowmobiles use a similar type of belt, not protected from snow, but they may run tighter since they have more power. They will slip if you get snow packed around them and it melts, causing the pulleys be very wet. But a couple good blips of the thumb and they will be good to go.

Im thinking brushless motors, one per wheel. cost might be a little bit of a factor, but a golf cart that will smoke all four tires...... PRICELESS.

So, the debate is whether Obama is a 2nd amendment supporter based on what his party is saying recently, or that he is very much against it based on his past voting history on bills and laws.
Gonna go listen to Obama to spew hot air tommorow night in Raleigh. Not hat I'm against him and for McCain, any politician will say what they think you wanna hear to get your vote. I dont trust any of them. I'm a registered Independent and dont agree with voting along party lines. I havent made up my mind yet who'll get my vote. As for the 2nd amendment, millions of americans own guns, and getting them away from us would be the most ridiculous undertaking that the government would ever try. They may try to make it harder for you to buy more, but they wont take the ones I have now. I hope everyone is at the polls on election day.

Tell all your friends to vote, if they dont then not to complain.

Golf Cart

You can take a golf cart put tags on it and drive it around. You just need blinkers, turn signals...etc. I know a person that called DOT and they said no problem.

That would work but the weight may be a factor. Especially with the battery bank that we would have to install in it.

They use golf carts all the time in Sun City, AZ. They even put high speed rear ends in them for street use.

Peachtree City Georgia which is a "planned community" has it's own roadways for golf carts. It's quite fashionable down there. There is a large majority of Pilots and flight crews from Delta that live there and so there is a decent amount of money there. They have people driving around with converted golf carts that have Mercedes and BMW swag on them. Until about 2002 even the kids could drive them, but they put a stop to that. Now you have to have a drivers license in order to drive one.
