I've seen Metallica twice in Dallas. I can't think of a more perfect Home Coming than a 7.3 G2G at the opening date of the Metallica concert in Phoenix!! It would be a helluva tailgate party!!! Since my wife hates that stuff too, looks like me & Cris are going stag, Lisa & Randy are in (moving or not, dammit!!), and Jacob WILL be there if we have to collect cans for his fuel.... Scott you & the better half in???? Who else's arm can I twist?? LMAO!!!

This could be a li'l bit fun...... Lord knows I'm ready to blow off some steam in true head-bangin' style!!!

I got to see Metalica a few years ago when they came to KC. It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a few. Godsmack opened for them, then when Metalica came on, they literally played for over 3 hours. It was an awesome show! I'd love to see them again, but it'd have to be more local. I'm already taking two trips out of state next month, and probably another in October.

Actually that thread lasted a little longer than I thought it would. Our O/T threads did not just start yesterday either. They have been near the top of the first page for quite awhile so it's surprising you've just noticed one.

Refer to the above. But when I saw your Chevy question I was actually speechless. I could not even come up with a smart *** reply. You got a lot more replies than I thought you would.

When I saw Metallica, Godsmack opened as well. I had a few Godsmack albums, but I don't watch MTV and I never see music videos. So when the lead singer came out on stage, I was shocked at how short he was.

Sounds like a blast, but we may not be able to get our shtuff together fast enough to make that a reality. Life has been nuts, currently I am at work and running on about 4 hours of sleep, from 4 hours the night before...the thought of even sitting through a concert makes me sleepy...But after we get moved, we may be open to a fun weekend and maybe a concert.

You and Randy would be a pair, I can guarantee that. I'm not sure i'd be able to seperate you two after the weekend is over. You'd sit and talk guns and metallica..and guns..and guns..

When I saw 'em, it was Metallica, Korn, Kid Rock, and LA Guns (I think -- missed the first band due to some pre-partying!!). Second time was with Corrosion of Conformity.

Yeah, it might be a bit rough to gather everyone in Phx so soon, but heck, it would be LEGENDARY!! I know how it is with the light sleeping times. 12 hours a day, six days a week (and this is my seven day week!), getting up early to hit the gym, etc tends to make for long days. And it's not like I can just hop in the shower and go to sleep. Sometimes it takes me a lloooooong time to unwind...

wow

Well...so I have 6 or so corporate catalog covers to design right...so I get permission to access a stock photography website so I can download some images...

So I am browsing through all of this photography, on a professional stock photography website, and I am getting nekkid pictures...like full frontal, some of them suggestive...and here I am in my office sitting at my desk. I hope nobody walks in because this could look really bad on my part.

I just did a search for "cleaning" because I need some imagery of cleaning products for our Breakroom/Janitorial catalog and you should've seen what popped up.
