Mark, here is another site with info about Bama and other scams. Interesting reading. I sort of know your pain. I have a relative who is hooked on the shopping channel on TV. She has stuff sitting on shelves in the basement that she will never use and keeps buying more.

I have seen the same thing with some of my elderly customers. They just keep giving in hopes of "hitting it big". I am doing a job for someone now that is a huge pack rat. There is so much stuff in the basement that it is unbeleivable. They could pay for the entire addition just by selling the stuff there.
The MG42 parts kit I have is 8MM I think.....but I have ammo like that too.... somewhere in my stash is a few bandoliers of .30 carbine leftover from WW2...The family to my knowledge never has owned one.
Yeah I know what you mean. He has a few bandoliers too, just for collective purposes I think. He has boxes and boxes of antique ammo that still look brand new, some of it from the 40's. He had a friend who died a few years back, a guy who was his grandfather's age and a big collector...and he inherited most of his stuff. Randy has some real antique stuff, most of it military, from WW2 and Vietnam, would probably fetch billions on ebay.
But I'm still complaining because it's still heavy.

I have a weakness for firearms too. When I see something I like, and I have money on me, the gun comes home. Many I have never shot. Of all the things one could get involved in today, I consider it a pretty harmless hobby.
Its kinda cool for us Baltimore people and the olympics, Phelps is a local guy.
I didn't know that swimmers had trading cards, but I heard that 2 weeks ago you could have bought an autographed trading card of his for $25. They were up to $500 before he won the 8th gold medal. Who knows what they're worth now. The Associated Press: Phelps trading card skyrockets in value to $500

Let's just say that I didn't eat steak. We ate at the food court in the Mall before taking my grandson back home and it wasn't as good as those steaks look.
