I`ve had good luck with the Old Car Center tho I`ve never bought any big ticket items from them.

That`s the part that really bites big time.

We are quite a bit warmer than normal, how cold is it in TN?
We had wood heat when I was a kid and I loved it.
I bought quite a few patch panels from the Old Car Center for this pickup but even though I didn't pay for any shipping they couldn't supply all that I needed so what I ended up paying for shipping from another vendor I didn't really save that much and sometimes ordering from them things take a very long time for them to arrive.
I was unaware that they are slow but then so am I.... except when waiting for truck parts to arrive.
I am thinking of ordering front fenders in a while for my 53 M100, after I first price them from the Old Car Centre.
Last time I checked with them on front fenders they wanted $600 for the outside fenders and $300 for the inners. That was why I did all the metal work on the fenders I have.
So they`ve gone up in the last few yrs, fronts were $500 each last time I checked. Still no too bad considering the big drop in the Canuck buck.
Unfortuanately I had to cut up my last of fairly decent pair of inner fenders so they would fit over the new suspension on my 53 M100 resto rod with an 80 Mercury car front clip.
I bought a water pump for the f135 from the Old Car Center as well as some misc parts for the M68. Everything turned out good. Guy I talked to on the phone seemed quite up on things as the f135 has a 47 engine so took a different water pump.
It would have been back in about April of this year Morris, that's about the time I started working on these fenders. The delays I had with them wasn't really their fault it was actually the fault of CPP. There was some patch panels they weren't able to get for me and I had a vendor here in Ontario I deal with get those parts through LMC.
Spent the last four days hauling grain. The tandem ran great, I was surprised at the mileage I put on, 1300kms. Great weather for this time of year which made the job so much nicer. While I was waiting in line ups I started replacing burnt out bulbs in the dash. With all the gauges light up it sure makes it bright in the cab.
So it`s only been about only 6-7 months since those increases came John?
I`ve been replacing my bulbs with LED`s as they burn out on both my tandem and equipment trailer, I think my truck and trailer must look a bit wierd at night.
Happy Friday mornin'all. I've used Old Car Center a few times, and it was a very good experience. The pricing was in line with anything else out there. On some product's it was par. Much of what I bought was in Dennis Carpenter packaging. Have a great day guy's.
