hey dave, its neither bass nor ski. i guess it would be considered a utility style boat. 14ft aluminum, all open-bench seats, with a 25hp suzuki outboard/tiller drive. its a small lightweight package, but it works/worked awesome!!
We still have a skiff from yesterday, but its melting as I type!
Sherm that blows about your boat motor. I take it you have it covered under your home owners insurance?
For our boat we have it so our boat is covered by our home insurance, and sgi would cover the trailer. Not very cheap to do it that way, but we decided we wanted that for the new boat.
the motor isn't damaged, but the transom(part of the boat that holds the motor) of the boat is damaged. i have the insurance through my homeowners coverage.
A friend had his truck with snowmobile on the back stolen and it seems that only because it was stolen from in his back yard the house insurance covered the snowmobile damage.
Every insurance company has the same set of rules, love to collect premiums and hate to pay out claims!
No oars here Jack as we`re still a touch dry, we didn`t get much of Sherm`s snow.
remember when that kid slammed into my race car and pushed it into my living room.
my home owners covered the house and my race car and the front porch.
the funny part about that was they wanted me to get estimates for my race car.
the guys at the body shop laughed and said what do you want us to do with this?
anything short of totaling it.
so my neighbor wrote an estimate for a piece 2x4 sticking in the grill.
but they made sure that kids insurance paid for it. and by god they paid.
