Sun has been a scarce commodity around here lately and going to be worse when they change the damn clocks again, wish they would do away with the time changes..
I hated the time change when I lived in Alberta, sure glad we don't have it here.
I had an insulated garage door installed last week and I finished insulating the addition so I am hoping it will be much warmer in the garage this winter.
Hoping the new landlord lives up to his words and pays for a new garage next summer, don't mind forming, cribbing and building it, hell I may even shoot the pad and pony walls, just want him to live up to his offer.
Good evening John, Perry and Colin, all that lurk here.
I`m really hoping for a late winter but we had an early spring and the weather has been crappy so I`m not holding my breath on that.
I've also heard that the snow will be less than normal but it will be very cold John. Snow I can move but now the cold keeps me inside.
I`m so very glad that we quit change clocks many years ago.
I used to have to work in the cold on my vehicles years ago, now I`m glad I have heated shops.
We've got a few good days of weather so it's a dash to get the yard projects done, tomorrow is build a yard tool shelter. It's only going to be about 30" deep x 7' wide x 6' high and is only temporary until the landlord wants a garage built. Got some 30+ year old cedar fence boards and old 4x4 lumber to use. Won't be pretty as its not getting painted.
Can handle some working outside in the shelter but the ground frost gets to my feet after a while, good thing we get some pretty prissy winters here, sure can't handle a true prairie winter anymore. I'm turning into a wimp. Lol
I`m very happy with my vinyl 8 X 10 garden shed I have by my fire pit in the back of my yard. It has enough room for shovels, rakes, etc plus room to store my patio furniture.
I`m hopping for a mild winter, I`m a wimp too.
This thing I do tomorrow will be a 1 day slap together lean to style shelter from scrap lumber. Hopefully sin will be uglier than it. Next day is putting my BBQ sitting area back together and then it's finish the walkway. Once this is done I can focus on the shelter shop, that's a week worth of work plus I got to get this shifter fixed. It's always Saturday around here. Lol
