Have a trailer but it's for scrap metal storage and I don't really have a decent place to store it. Want a 1 ton dually Morris as they are small enough for use around town and big enough that I can put on a 100' fence package and bring it to site. Have a couple of Gen 6 trucks and saw a 78 f350 in Cochrane. Wants 1000 but can get it for 800 maybe cheaper at month end, has 8 x 12 deck. Those training wheels give these trucks a lot more stability with a load, have lots of parts for that generation of truck.
Storing a trailer can be hard in a big city, storage yard fees can get expensive. A 1 ton dually is handy and versatile are around the farm. I have my old favorite, a 56 F350. Hopefully you get your hands on that 78 F350 Perry, it`s simple and easy to fix.
Sweet looking truck Morris. I like how small and versatile the 1 ton is. 24" plank walls for most loads and plywood walls for bulky light loads and it's perfect for what I do. Footprint is only 22' x 9', will fit in anywhere, have had bigger truck boxes than that and it comes with a trailer hitch.
Another cool and cloudy day after a bit rain last night, it`s enough to drive the farmers waiting to harvest nuts.

Thanks Perry, it runs like a top and I`ve had it for about 10 yrs.

No rain here today Colin, but it was cloudy off and on and the weather man was almost right, but he blew it to the good. Got all my painting done and the boards were dry enough to hang. Had that wood screw that wont go into wood curse today, must've come across 150 dull screws in a pack of 400.
How are the Magpies out there Colin and Morris, Crows went after Frankie but she asked for it, spent a half hour throwing hand fulls of stones at them to get them out of the yard.
We had a light shower last night and late this afternoon there was a combine going.

That`s something I stay away from, I`ve learned that fixing something with a bunch of very tiny parts isn`t my thing. If you have to lube it perhaps use graphite?
We had tons of Magpies Perry, it`s almost impossible to get rid of these crafty devils.
The new JD tractor arrived here after supper, too bad it gets dark so dang fast.
Here`s the pictures of my 64 Galaxie parts car, it looks much better in pictures.
Good morning everyone, raining here this morning. If I get out that way Morris I'll have to give it a good look over..was just a quick in and out trip to drop off that bumper and some small parts..
Hello Grant and John.
The good about the Galaxie is that it is complete and I suspect low mileage one. The bad is that I think it was parked for many years in tall grass so the floors, the rear quarters and other parts of it are likely rusty. I haven`t looked to see if the frame is rusted. I`ve seen a lot worse but I`ve certainly seen better restoration candidates.
Have a good day Perry, I`m sure you`ll have no problem keeping busy.
My JD tractor arrived last night so after a quick trip to town I`ll get some seat time in.
