Those sled are pretty awesome, I snapped this pic while I was changing my chain case oil and my buddy was removing the decals off his sled
To the right is my buddies 2014 Summit X 146 and to the left is my 2012 Renegade Backcountry 137! Both are E-tec 800s!
Morning guys! Looking that the picture of mine and my buddies sleds I uploaded last night I realized I got them backwards. I hope your mornings are starting off better haha
Randy...how are you ever going to clean those turds out of your garage
Mine when it was brand new... Doesn't quite look like that anymore... A lot more "character" accumulated over the seasons...
Have a happy Monday all!!! It warmed up nicely over night here...
Gooooood Morning Gents.
What an awesome feeling day out there today.
Gorgeous sleds Shewin/Randy but do you want to see a SEXY sled?
Grant.....you ready for this.........
She's an oldy, but a beauty!! 10, 500+ KMS. 1st time out of the mancave for 2013/14 season.
Mornin Grant, Mornin Gigger.
Someone say Sushi? hehehe or Moto sushi hahahha
It's warmed up out there, time to go finish shoveling the driveway in my sandles now. Later today looks like suntannin weather for us Manitobans? Anyone in
Sherwin - that is the exact sled I was looking at when I was looking for a new sled. I looked at both Polaris and Ski Doo but after finding two blown up 2011 Polaris 800s with under 500 miles in Manitoba and reading many horror stories about the 2011 model year I decided to pass and buy the Ski Doo. I'm not saying Polaris makes bad sleds but the 2011 800s were not good engines.
Curtis - Yamaha's are very reliable but heavy, expensive, and the Phasers look like bugs to me lol. Also it's -22 here, -31 with wind. I'd like some sun tanning weather
I think everysled out there has it's issues. Far more reliable now than in the past. Maintence is the key to having that sled that never lets the group ride down or leaves you on the side of the trail. Despite my skid breaking twice now, she's always gotten me home safe and sound
Honestly Randy, I never liked the bug when it 1st came out either. It's grown on me since i've owned for 3 years now. Works out to $1000/season for me to ride. I got it for very very cheap as it was an X-race sled. For the price, i'll put up with the looks for one more season and more than likely sell it for what I paid for it and it'll still be a good deal for someone out there. I just can't fathom the thought of the speed of depreciation on a newer sled. Hence the reason I'm holding off for a year old Viper that'll have allready gone through the 1st year recall phaze and depreciated price tag.
She's warming up here bud, with the south winds and heavy snow falling that means warmer weather is on its way for our Northern Manitoba neighbors
Evening gentlemen,
Wow, we got some snow today here
Had a great day. Bought an alternator and a belt.
Installed at a buddies shop, had viddles there and caught up.
Took alternator back to the place I bought across from Wpg sport and they bench tested it and it was definately shot. 2 blown resistors (or whatever their called) that was causing my battery drain issue. Great well knowledged young guy working there and will definately be back in the future.
Then I went to Ford on Regent for my FICM relay. Parts guy gave me the crap eating grin and talked to me like I didn't know what I was talking about. Sure got everyones attention when I asked him " Did I offended you by the way I plainly asked for a FICM relay?" Ended up leaving there and getting it at Ford on Main. Great guy, took care of me lickity split, wished me a Merry Ho Ho and sent me on my way.
Tranny's learning mode is coming along, cleaned up the plug in's under the truck via a thread I found from another forum (going crazy thinking my trannys pooched)
No suntanning today but got a heck of alot of things done in the city!!
Loaded PHP's Herc tune in today for chit's and giggles.....WOW does the turbo spool up quick and crazy fast power. Barely any lag at all. Spun all 3 wheels in any gear any speed on the slick streets :P
To top it all off, the wife shoveled the front half of the driveway for me!! Gotta love great days and great family!!
