No topic thread,,, Part 2
Colin - I have to say, those skis look a little funny on your snowmobile. But if it helps, who cares how it looks
Gerry - It was the first day of winter 2 months ago for us up in Gillam lol. And we got about another 5 months to go

As for my truck, I tried to do the throttle valve delete but failed when I ended up stripping the screws that hold the valve in place... Ill post pictures when I get home. So in the end I didnt get the valve out but I did get to clean up my intercooler piping a bit. I think I did pretty go for not having much experiece working on vehicles
My brain's a little fried today
Too much work and not a lot of seasonal cheer. My brother took a load to Delta, BC to deliver Monday, so I'm left watching the fort. My wife is not happy, and there may be a career change in the future. It sometimes sucks working for family.Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts

Randy, a bummer on stripping those screws, hopefully it`s an easy fix. Today is supposedly the 1st day of winter but you're right Gerry, it`s very likely that we have at least 4 months of winter before it`s over.

Colin, it`s very cold here too, -28°C/-18°F, feels like -32°C.
Take as much time as you need for the Holidays Sherm, it`s an important time to spend with family and friends.

Is the U.S. fuel that different that`s it`s giving you lots of problems in the cold?
I too hope that everyone stays safe and warm this winter.
Picture 1 is my throttle valve (what I was trying to remove) caked in Oily gunk from my crank case vent. Where is goes lighter in the middle is the shaft the valve sits on, and the two dark spots on that shaft were the screws I stripped.

Picture 2 is the valve when I'm not holding it closed. As you can kinda see (bad picture) the layer of gunk on the top of the valve

Picture 3 is looking down the intercooler piping on my motor, you can see how caked on it is inside.
lol, I'm just excited that I finally got it installed!
Crappy on stripping the screws bud, but you got this. Truck should almost, almost keep up to the eX now

Have you tried moving the inside ski bushing to the outside to give it that 1.5" wider (3/4 per side) stance? They suit the machine and look pretty darn mean. She corner good in the tight twisty one way trails too?
Thanks for posting that, gives me a good feel for what it looks like
Brett/Morris she's definately feeling like winter. -38 at home with the chill. Just threw a couple more logs on in the mancave. Kids weren't happy running to the wife's civic after din din tonight. And they wonder why dad ALWAYS wears long johns

Grant, x-mas season at trucking companies are always tough. For pretty much the full 17 years I was at TransX, I worked the holiday season. Hung around for all the same reasons. Set up units for loads heading out, no one want's to stick around, accomodating drivers so they can Hook N Book to there hometowns for the season. Doing what ever it takes to make every possible thing happen so nobody misses any family time.
, no such thing a I in team but anyways) He and his wife from Italy were there. Long story short, I got to take his Porshe for a RIP!! Moral of the story, I know it must be borring when I got into my long winded posts

There's always good things that come to those who go above and beyond for others. It's testy for family during the holidays when work takes priority, been there many times, but always feels good to know at the end of the day you did something that was the right thing to do
Sorry for the long winded threads guys. Mumzie was the DD tonight.
Evening to Steve and CLint as well as whoever else pops in
