i looked through this again and like 80% of the vids have been moved or deleted...jeees helpful much

andyway...has anyone run stock exhaust with just cat(s) delete? im hoping my cat is clogged and that is contributing to the 10.5 MPG so i want to cut er out and probably re locate the pit to exit in front of the rear tire? anyone know how that would sound? with the stock muffler?

i wanna dig more into the exhaust one day but i got other stuff on my plate right now so im doing this on the cheap...

i dont wanna go straight pipe cuz i cant stand that damn ricey jap trap noise it makes at higher rpm...even though to my best guesses i dont go much over 3k during normal driving...i just cant stand ricers, or their noise

i was thinkin aobut getting a blue bottle for it and trying that its a glasspack if i remember right, made my 302 sound like a harley davidson hehe...sounds amazing on a v8 wonder how it would do on the 6 er

did you watch my vid? it has no rice to it at all, its just not as loud as a glasspack..then again its 3" in diam so that helps quiet it down a bit. and my muffler is a super 44, but im goin to be cutting off the 2nd cat, installing a 3-way high flow dual outlet cat to two single chamber flowmasters, then 3" piping out both sides in front of the rear tires

yeah i was gonna try no cats with one glass pack and slightly oversized tubing....

yea its deep and mellow, like a diesel but still distinct from one. the smaller diameter piping makes these things sound ricey, and i mean under 2.5" if you go 2.5 and above itll sound good. flowmaster comes into affect with good sound with 2.5"+.

nw 150, you have both cats and a 3inch back with a 44? is that all the way back or how far? dualed? turn downs, tips, etc.i love the way your truck sounds. absolutely love it. i just went through every single vid here of efi trucks, and i like yours the best, hands down. no offense to anyone else. i have tried glass packs, straight pipe, 2" 2.25" both cats no cats, 1 cat, a turbo muffler, and who knows what else i have forgotten. all to find the setup you have now. please do tell....

yea originally it was a summit turbo single 3" cat back, still got both cats, went all the way to the back and had a 45 after the rear tire. later on a replaced the 45 with a turndown, and just this last summer i took off the summit turbo muffler and replaced it with a super 44. my plans have changed a little on my new exhaust i wanna do, since i have looked underneath and have realized i wont have enough space two fit two mufflers where id be putting them. i think now i will still remove the 2nd cat, replace it with a highflow cat to a super 44 with dual 3" outlets, to piping out both sides in front of the rear tires. see the thing with my truck is that its 3", to me that diam gives the 300 a really nice sound, very deep like a big engine, you just have to watch it though cause you NEED backpressure, and dual 3" wont help much. but im not too terribly worried lol cause whatever i loose in power (if i do) ill get back with the new gearing whenever that happens.

oh yea, ford your truck, you said that you made a custom intake, pictures?
