ok lol.. yes i was.. oops...well still do the turn down right after the muffler and it will be alot louder in the cab.. believe me i know from two different flaresides..lol...and as far as your avatar pic when you are looking at your user cp screen on the left hand side you will see an option to edit your avatar. and you will have to go through those hopes.. the best way i have found to do it is to load a pic onto facebook photobucket, myspace, or whatever and rigt click on the image and then click "save image as" rename it. and then use that file to upload your avatar. (since it has to be a certian file size and or pixel rating.. i hope this helps.
Your tailpipes are after your axle. That's why it's quiet. Mine is quiet in the cab now also because I moved the tailpipes post axle.
hey bill man how do you keep your flareside sooooo clean??? i cant keep the dirt and mud off of mine!!!! lol.. well i also take the beaten path a bit.. but man I love your truck!!

Hey Micah!
Have you SEEN any of my recent pictures lately? My truck is covered in mud, dirt, snow.. The interior is FILTHY, dirty, muddy, pebbles.. My poor truck hasn't been washed in months. We don't have any cover for the vehicles now so they just stay dirty. It's been in the single digits and teens here so I can't just wash the poor truck. she's a bloody mess!
I love your too! I wish mine was an extended cab like yours.
the ext cab is nice, but i love the look of the reg cab flaresides better..i havent washed my truck since i bought it.. I hate washing my cars in the winter due to deicer and all that junk..as soon as you pull out from the car wash and hit 30 or 40 your truck looks like it just did and you wasted 5 bucks..lol
also i will try an get an exhaust clip of mine up here soon.. i dont think it will sound all that good due to i have a cheap camera..lol.. but my exhaust is custom!! custom by wear and tear! I have a cat and about two feet of pipe after it.. but it still sounds great!! soon i will put a pack on it when i can.
Yup.. so what's the point? I don't even care anymore. I try to keep the inside one level below disgusting but my boots pick up the snow / mud / rocks. sigh. lolol Oh well. that's one good thing about having a baseline truck - no carpet to ruin!
yea i don't get where the loudness in the cab is coming from for you guys. that's what i want and its not loud at all in the cab. i got the super 44 its right under the spot where the cab and bed meet, and out the back turn downed after the axle...what the hell
i meant i had a 1 in 2 out 44 with turndowns right behind the cab. thats why it was so loud.
Adding a new exhaust clip. There's some external noise, like the camera moving around on the dash, and the rattling of the transfer case shifter, but it works.
man that is awesome!!! it brings back so many memories of driving my dads bronco..same year as yours it was a 4sp 300-6..he still has it..it hasnt left his property in like 5 years.. I want it so bad.. it looks horrible now, but i learned ow to drive in it. Long live the bronco!!
factory cat and no muffler..lol.. i like the sound, but i think i wanna try something i havent had on a 300, and i havent quite decided.. i have had a glaspack, about 24 inchs...i have had a flowmaster 44 on my 79, and it was nice.. i have had a factory muffler and i didnt like that.. lol.. so i really dont know...Im thinking a cheap turbo type muffler for kicks. and then if i dont like it i didnt spend alot.
10-4.. I understand. I always wondered how one of those Ricer fart can muflers would sound on a 300. They make the 4-bangers sound deep so I would imagine they would make a 300 sound good.
well i am not going to put a fart can on my truck.. i do know that much..lol..some one else should do it and post a sound clip.. then i might retract that staement.
