Hmm that is interesting. But to clarify, i removed the IPR because you wanted me to check those two bolts for the IPR. However i had already painted it, just like you sent it to me in the box. I then taped all the aluminum parts off painted it, (assembled) then removed the IPR once you called me. Pete was there he saw it.

Kris, I am aware of that. But, judging by the mounting bolts, they were removed when the pumps were painted, correct? With the bolts removed, there would now be a .002-.005 gap, which unfortunately allowed paint to run down between the billet block and the rear pump. Section4 of the TE instructions: Now install the entire assembly into the engine valley. Remove the two nuts securing the pumps. Slide pump assembly in the timing cover. Torque the new bolts to 25ft/ibs.
Install gear bolt and cover to factor specs.
Yes, I should have clarified to insure the mounting bolts were still intact when I asked you to inspect the Stainless Banjo bolts, my mistake.
Live and learn. As a side note, my webmaster will be making an update to the warranty section, regarding painting of the pumps.
Thank you,
Joey@TE

The system has been inspected, assembled with the correct sealing rings. Terminator Engineering is committed to having satisfied customers, whether Kris would prefer a refund or the pumps returned.
