a agree with Scott, ^^^^^^^
and Joey is a stand up guy, with great support, and pleanty of happy custommers running his systems for a while now, so im sure Kris will be takin care of by the Master himself, so there will be no problems and smooth sailing from now on.

sometimes those Gremlins drive us nuts, and we all need to give each other a chance to correct , diagnose , and find the mistakes we all make , NOONE is perfect , and noone will be, but like we all know, everyone needs a chance

ok ok ok, my rant is over,
hope Kris will be a happy camper and will have Merry Christmas , just like the rest of us ,

guys its Christmas , and we are one huge family, lets be in a good spirit.

Pete

He forgot to tell me that the pumps need to be torqued together, with the supplied nuts and the bolts (if it's out of the truck), or installed in the truck and tightened down when you install the IPR block. I had it on the bench and it wasnt tight when i installed the IPR.

I guess i'll give him one more chance to fix this one, since i should have actually sent it to him in the first place when it leaked, but for time's sake i sent it closer. If this one still leaks when i get it back, it's either a whole new setup or $$ back.

Oh yeah, merry christmas, eve.

What I'm seeing here overviewing the whole thread, no disrespect intended to you Kris, or anyone else:
Joey sent you a new pump that was incorrectly installed by the owner of the truck.
Joey is still willing to stand behind his product and send you a new one without quibbling over how the first pump was installed.
That IMO shows me that he is going the extra mile for you.
I don't mean this in a bad way to you Kris, because I and most everyone else here think very highly of you.
Wrenching is more art than science. I've stripped, warped, cracked, broken more than my share of aluminum parts. The last one I did was the oil filter stand when I was putting together the engine on my Diesel Rabbit. Little too much muscle and the the upper bolt flange gave out under the load. Had to go scrounge one up out of a junkyard.

Rep points given to Joe.

Well new remanned stock pump arrived today, installed it and it's so much easier to get to that single pump. Wow i couldnt believe it. I am now (temporarily) enjoying a leak-free truck with injectors and engine that is as quiet as before. I don't know if the loud crackly injectors is a side effect to the BO, but now my truck sounds as nice as ever. No AE knock either. Hmmm...

It's because you don't have the oil volume now.

I technically still own the Terminator pumps though. I don't think he would let me return them without a huge fit.

Almost sounds like you don't want the BO anymore????? I'm sure Joey will make it right. I know that leaking nightmare takes a long time to forget.

I don't know. I bet if this next attempt doesn't fix the problem. Joey will let you walk away no questions asked. I'm not speaking for him, never met him, but from all the "him making things right", if you aren't happy in the end, I don't see why he wouldn't.

ugh im still undecided. I like what it does, however the truck obviously doesn't like the 3800psi, im going to have to get the chip retuned for 3000-3200 max. And, two different single pumps are going to debut in 01/08, both costing less than 2000. Knowing that i won't ever need enough oil volume to supply huge injectors (contemplating injectors that use LESS oil volume (160cc singles), if i were to buy BO all over again i'd getthe 50% more stealth system, or even the pulse. No "worrying" about leaks even if i do get a leak free Terminator back, and possibly fix the loud idle and crackly injectors. But, ive already bought it, and used it. Not like he can just take them and sell them to someone else as "new" even though its only been about 1000 miles of use or so. Let's see what happens.

I hear ya man, just have Jody turn down the ICP. Good things come to those who have no money, errr who wait. I still cannot afford BO. Gonna have to start working a lot of OT.

You are the first TE customer to actually complain about Extreme ICP. I have been running my truck with probably the same program as you(yours is based on mine, most likely) for longer then anyone. Keep in mind, your only seeing 3800+ at WOT. If you decide to turn it down, I would suggest no less the 3400 at WOT.

If you run B codes(lower injection ratio), 3800 is perfect.

Nothing really to add here, but I have learned a ton from this thread. Thanks to Kris for bringing it up and big kudos to Joey for stepping up. This thread will stick in my mind when I make the jump into a higher volume pump when I get back from my next trip to the sand pit next....er....I mean THIS year. Time flies...
