Are you thinking of just coming out to spectate, or bringing something down to race Miles??
Those are some nice trophies. looks like you have been doing some winning this year. I would probably just be spectating this time. The truck is all tore apart again. No front clip, no headers and no carburetor. Took the clip off to do the fender-well headers and the carburetor is still a piece of ????

it was really scary before with totally stock suspension. it is a lot better now that is quite a bit lower, has coil-overs and new front shocks. Not sure I would go 115 with 30 year old worn out stock stuff.

I drug home a new project today.... 1973 f-100 2wd shortbed with a 360 and automatic... I drove the damn thing onto the trailer (at first it wouldnt start, its been sitting for 5 years, i popped the distributor cap off, eyeballed the points, and she fired), had to go out past Watkins to get it, but it was worth it.. The body is a little rough, but its workable.

I ended up getting it for $650!!!

It is going to be the new racer... I am thinkin... just thinking of doing a 432 cubic inch FE engine for it...

The guy i got it from was saying that he was firm on the price, very firm, firm.. lol.. Then i told him i wanted to drag race it and he dropped the price for me!! Im going to keep him up to date on the build and progress of it.

The pontiac ended up being scrapped out... ohhwell, we needed the money then.

I am worried about building to much because I am not sure how long the track in Douglas is going to be open. they talk about a 5 year lease from the city and after that the city will sell the land to the highest bidder. I really can't see much going in on that end of a town that is not growing. i just wonder about someone or a group of someones buying it just to end the noise right in town.

I sold the dodge last week lol... had to get rid of it so i could have cash to go get this thing.

I hear you about the not wanting to build something, but hell, you know youll atleast have 5 years of fun before having to move somewhere where there is a track close by.

The plan is to make the truck a daily driver and buy a 61 falcon and transplant the 514 into it. I would then race at Bandimere regularly since it is only 100 miles from cheyenne. wouldn't be bad since I don't work fridays.

I would be up for a meeting in Kansas, there is a nice track in Topeka. I need to get mine done too. The problem is every year I get more ideas and have to change something.

Topeka would be a good one. I could get there in a day would be a nice trip. You mentioned a 61 Falcon, I just had a buddy at the track last week tell me about a guiy that has 3 of that body style 60-63 and he wants $200 for all 3 he also has a gutted but strait and rust free 64 Fairlane. I been thinking hard about gettin the Fairlane and put my 460 in it. Would be alot faster than the F-100 but haven't made up my mind yet
