That's right Don...the new owners include the fans...as long as they are willing to pay the long dollar!!! I can't afford to go to any games...don't know how anybody could on a regular basis. For $53.45 a month, I get to watch all the games I want...Pats, Bruins, Celtics also...I arrive 1 minute before the game begins...no lines at the terlets...beer is cheap (not cheap beer...beer cheap)...get home 1 minute after the game ends..can leave if it's a blowout!!!

I agree Ken, I have not been to a game in many years.. You forgot to mention the instant replays you get to see..
You don't have the bonehead yelling in your ear (Unless you are married).
Another reason is, I can sit in a comfortable chair instead of squeezing my butt in those wooden shoe boxes and having my shins crushed up against the seat in front.

I hear you about the seats...can you imagine if you and I went to a game...we'd have to buy 4 seats...remove the armrests...heaven help the poor bas_ard who tried to get by us to go to the terlet!!!

I think you've got to go to a game now and then, it's really a different experience than tv. It's easy to forget how green the grass is and how the wide angle lenses on the tv camera make the stadium seem much bigger than it is. Baseball, IMO, more than any of the other major sports, is a game of place and pace. Doesn't have to be a big league sox game, the minor league games can be really entertaining, they mostly bust their butts to make sure you have a good time.
On the (way!) other hand, I had a family dinner thing I had attend last night and so I had to listen to the first couple innings on the radio on the way home. AM radio! I hadn't done that in a long time and I'd forgotten how good baseball can be over the radio when done by a good play-by-play announcer.

I have been to the spinners a few years back.. That was great smaller field means you are closer to the action. Resonable price also.

I had to do the same (Listen on the radio) it was nice not hearing Joe Buck and Tim McCyver(sp?) blatently rooting for the Sox to lose.
Hopefully we do not have to listen to them in the World Series.
i remember i could get bleacher seats in the mid 90's for like 17 bucks. them came pedro, then manny, since then weve seen some moderate increases, lol.
i agree you cant beat taking in a game, would have loved to have been there last night.

Best seats in the house, $7.50! It's hard not to get your money's worth for $7.50

That would be a way to measure another turning point of the game - when those two clowns stopped dissing the Sox and starting bad-mouthing the Indians just to make it look like they predicted the Sox would win all along!

jesum h. between those too nappy headed ho's and john madden on sunday night football, i almost had to hit the mute button. there enough to give an asprin a headache
OK, kiddos, less than 12 hours till the first pitch!!! Are we getting excited yet??? How about your predictions??? The Rockies are a very good ball club...got a lot of guys with some pop in their bats...very good middle relievers...I don't think their starting pitchers match up well with the Saawx...of course their closer is no Papelbon!!
My prediction...we'll see Papelbon do his ridiculous step dancing with a big cigar in his mouth shortly after the end of the 5th game in Colorado!!! Saawx...Saawx...Saawx!!!
Games 1 & 2: Sox
Games 3 & 4: Rockies
Game 5: Sox
Game 6: Sox (at Fenway...)
I'm hoping Paplebon will do the silly drunken champagne/cigar dance in his jockstrap on home turf.....ask Cleveland's Garko, chamgagne tastes better at home.
