I've been thinking about McCarver...the Saawx hater/baiter...did some checking...he actually played parts of two seasons for the hometown team...in the mid seventies...I still can't figure out why he is...always has been...a Saawx hater!!!

While there might be more, there's only two people that I know absolutely without doubt understand the game of baseball - me, and Manny!

If you knew so much about baseball, why'd you pick the Sox to win? You need more edu-ma-cation on the game, so, in the spirit of paying it forward, I will give you lesson #1 for free.

1. Indians RULE, Red Sox DROOL!

Now repaet that 500 times and you'll be good to go!

Ah, Grasshopper, you do not yet understand! You have so much to learn! Has not the raindrop who makes the journey down the river to the sea won the game, even if she is not the first? Is there not enjoyment in seeing each child grow and thrive, the youngest as well as the oldest? If it doesn't happen, ....is there not always next year? If you have enjoyed the game, then you have won!

(Not that I'm poo-pooing a few million bucks in the bank, you understand!)

Fausto is looking dazed and confused in the 1st.....appears to be over his head. We'll see. Maybe his strategy is to give the old man pitching for the Sox too much rest between innings.....

I am sooooo about to turn the volume off on my TV and listen to the game on the radio. These two morons doing the game are nauseating. The Sox are up by three and all the can talk about is "how deep can the Sox go with Schilling" and "the tieing run is at the plate" and so forth. They are practically praying out loud that the Sox lose. The bias is so obvious.....

Sox in seven......
