Ive got a 77' f250 with a 460 that i cannot find headers that will fit it. It originally came with a 400 in it if this has anything to do with it. it is a 4x4.
So do yall have any suggestions? Ive already tried Hookers with no luck.
Broncograveyard has them. They get them from L & L ultraflow products which also has their own website. You can get fenderwell exit or chassis exit headers. Broncograveyard seems to be cheaper. Summit racing also has the fenderwell exit headers. I have to get the same thing.
I am in the same situation with my 78 bronco with a 460. I need either new manifolds or headers but the truck already has a clearence problem with the manifolds. I was also told that on a only slightly mod'ed 460 headers can actually hurt performance.
Sanderson Headers makes a nice set of "shorty" headers that will fit any palce manifolds will. They aren't as good as long tubes for low RPM torque, but are still better than manifolds.
