Flowtech or L&L Headers for a 460

Well I want some headers for my truck. Its a 77 Ford F-150 2x4 with a 460. Do you know anything about Flowtech 460 headers or L&L 460 headers? Will I have to notch the frame or lift the engine? Its an automatic also if that helps. Thanks alot guys and please help me I'm in a hurry.

I am not 100% sure, but I think hooker makes some for the application you are looking for. I would go with those.

78 F150 400m, c6, holley carb and intake, cam, and some other goodies

87 F150 460, c6, 2800 stall converter, eagle hbeam's, eldelbrock intake carb, crane cam sat spec., balanced and blue printed, 10.5-1 compression, heads ported and polished, full msd setup, everything but roller, aluminum heads, and laughing gas(as for now).

55 F100 stock 292 3 speed (as of right now..heh)

2002 F-150 SuperCrew Fx4 lariat

trust me ,, spend the little extra cash and buy the L&L's !!!! these headers are made for these trucks no cutting, no bending, no nothing, these headers will bolt right up without any problems, and they guarantee a 40 H.P. increase.. they have an extra thick header flange at the head so they will not leak , and the headers are coated so they won't tarnish or rust. these are probally the best headers on the market. i've had mine on my F-150 4X4 for about 3 years now,, NO leaks ever, and they look great just like the day i put them on. anybody here that runs these headers will boast about them i know i will because there the best and i wouldn't buy another pair. have a great night. I would have to agree with CJ on the L&L's. I believe they are the best headers on the market with 1/2" head flanges, nickel coated 14 ga. tubing and 3/8" collector flanges. I ran these headers on my 79 4x4 for 2 years and never had a problem with them. Spend the extra money and get something that will last.

L&L by far. You won't be disapointed. I have the fenderwell exit ones (they go over frame rail on outside of frame.) They look and preform great.
