code identification again?

I just tried to put my vin # in FTE's decoder and it came back unknown.Did a search and found wildbill33 thread about f130 My vin# is X26SKBA4544 Has anyone seen this before? When i changed title to my name the DMV said it came up unknown too. Mark

these work better then FTE's but it dosnt explain the x26s

The Vin decoders in post 3 are from FTE. They are under the tips and tricks thread. IF you haven't read that thread, I recommend you doing so. Some really good info in there. But, that is weird that the other VIN decoder comes up invalid.

The one I have used for years from the FAQ thread comes up:

I have only found one error in that one some time ago and reported it.

The FTE decoder on the silver menu bar, not the article, did not operate correctly. I have reported the error. I have reported several errors. They have not been corrected yet.

The X26 is listed.. you just went too fast.

i must have looked right over it. sometimes i cant find a tool right in front of me.
