I would greatly appreciate a full write up. Also, what are the benefits of having two O2 sensors? Hope it happens in the near future. Thanks, Caleb Fox

The advantage of 2 o2 sensors is you can have dual exhaust - one per side
Seems I'd read somewhere another benefit from 2 o2 sensors was so the computer could identify which bank of cylinders a problem could be occurring and give an appropriate trouble code.
One of the games played when converting to MAF is to trick the wiring on the 02 sensors and just use 1. The primary advantage for dual 02 sensors is that the computer can regulate the fuel flow for each bank of cylinders dependent on the 02 readings from that bank's 02 sensor. There is no capability for a SD system to accept dual 02 sensors.
Mustang speed density computers used two O2 sensors, and the truck MAF computers (EEC-IV only) used a single O2 sensor, so associating one system to how many O2 sensors it uses doesn't always hold true...
I am planning this exact upgrade once I get back from Afghanistan. I have a '90 F350 Crew Cab 460 / E4OD 4X4 I want to convert to Mass Air. Almost all the previous posts are concerning 302s and 351s. I don't exactly feel like spending $2,045.95 from Mass-Air.com. Everyone is talking aout how easy this is but I have yet to see a step-by-step for the 460. If you do, can you please enlighten me?

There never were any mass air 460 motors so you're up against it right from the start. The best route for you would be to use a 302 or 351 MAF/E4OD truck computer with a tuner so you can enter the correct MAF transfer function, injector size, and engine size. The 460 uses 24lb squirters in stock trim and will need bigger ones with only minor mods, and you'll need an 80-90mm MAF meter for sure, way more than the Windsors came with in these trucks.
I have noticed massairsystems.com (PMAS) has a kit but it is temporarily discontinued. It was only $1,382.00, still high but cheaper then Mass-Air.com's $2K+. I know it sounds like being picky, but at the same time I am doing all of this, I might as well get one that converts my batch (bank) fire to sequential fire also. Might as well get some fuel economy while I am at it. WMS Racing has a pretty good kit that is better than Mass Air but it doesn't say whether or not it is also sequential. I have an email in to them to find out. Does anyone know of a system that won't cost an arm and a leg that is Mass-Air (or equivalent like WMS Racing) AND sequential fire? Thanks.
I agree!! The e40d has been my biggest problem in trying to convert to MAF. I'm still not sure whether i'm supposed to have 8 or 9 wires on a 92 e40d/5.0.
HERE YOU GO!!!!
Spent a little time making this last night. Hope you guys find it useful. I will be updating it daily. Mabye write a book. F-150 & Bronco Mass Air Project
Enjoy!!!!
