ALL programmers are detectable, the ONLY programer on the market is the smarty for the cummins ram. Even when you load the stock data from the box into the truck is still leaves little footprints the dealer does not have to look at data output or fuel to air ratio readings like most claim. Especially if you blow your truck and then take the program out, the ecm stored everything and throughs a code that the dealer see. My 05 blew head gaskets at 8k miles, then an entire motor at 12k miles, then head gaskets again at 24k miles, then an entire new motor at 38k miles, then the 4th turbo melted at 44k miles (the replaced the turbo every time) and finally a new set of head gaskets at 49k miles. Not to mention the tranny finally went out at 53k miles and ford stepped in and Vioded ALL my warrentys because of the 5" lift and 36" toyo tires, and the chip. Some dealers care some dealers turn their head in respect for your business. To be honest its all in a game of luck of how your dealer handels these problems and what all you break. My truck went into 2 different dealers Currtisey ford and greenway ford, orlando Fl) that told me the warrenty was void because of the chip, untill i came apon a ford truck only store/shop that mainly deals ford tractor trucks then pick ups that would warrenty it......then ford stepped in and killed my fun. I hate to say it but i now own a new 07 cummins mega cab ram.........but looking forward to the 08 6.4s!
